The New Fiduciary Rule on Healthcare

Trillium Partners of UBS is pleased to invite you to join us for a special 2nd edition of the presentation “The New Fiduciary Rule on Healthcare” given by Hugh O’Toole of Innovu.

We are excited to welcome back Hugh O’Toole, who was the keynote speaker at our 16th Annual Fiduciary Forum hosted in January of this year. His session was one of the highest-rated in the 16-year history of the event. Since January, there have been new litigation and updates in the healthcare fiduciary landscape. Hugh will review his presentation, incorporating these latest developments, and answer questions from the audience.

Hugh O’Toole's career began with a mission to provide non-profit employers and their employees with institutional investment products, leading to rapid growth at Professional Pensions, Inc. (PPI), which was later acquired by Principal Financial Group. After serving as an executive at Principal and MassMutual, he founded Viability AG LLC to address the financial wellness of employees and its impact on employers. As CEO of Innovu, Hugh focuses on transforming advisor practice models to holistic Human Capital Risk Management through data aggregation, analytics, and behavioral finance.

Don't miss this timely and informative session on a new rule that is impacting corporate healthcare governance across the country. This is a unique opportunity to gain valuable insights from an industry leader and network with peers

        17th Annual Family Forum

Please join us for our 17th Annual Family Forum, a half day of educational sessions and financial insights tailored for every generation. Trillium Partners is excited to be back at Capital City Club for this year’s event and have crafted a lineup of topics that address the uncertainty in what lies ahead for the remainder of the year and beyond, including the implications of the outcome of the upcoming presidential election.

Over the past year, we continued to see the lagging impacts of the Fed’s interest rate hikes make their way through global markets. While investors began the year expecting multiple rate cuts, investors today have revised expectations downward and continue to wait for the Fed’s next move. Innovation in technology has been driving this year’s stock market momentum, fueled by the expectations of Artificial Intelligence’s impact on businesses and the labor market. The adoption of digital assets has also seen momentum this year with the SEC’s approval of Bitcoin Spot ETFs and the Financial Innovation & Technology Act making its way through congress with bipartisan support.

In today’s rapidly changing world, understanding the psychology of investing is important to understand how these headlines affect investor behaviors and ensure that any decisions made are done so with emotional clarity and discernment. Families must begin having open and effective conversations around wealth, as we are expected to go through a historic global wealth transfer in the coming years, which can be challenging if heirs are left in the dark.

We look forward to continuing these conversations in July, where we will have subject matter from experts across our industry deliver these insights. Our goal is to bring families and friends together for engaging conversations that help empower individuals to make educated decisions and inspire further conversations. We encourage you to bring those who are important to you, as we look forward to hosting you, your family, and friends.

Into the Future: Is there a place for Bitcoin ETFs in a 401(k) Lineup?

Following the 10 January US Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC)
approval for exchange-traded funds (ETFs) that invest directly in Bitcoin,
funds have opened their doors to new investors and one existing Bitcoin
Trust converted to an ETF. While part of the initial excitement for Bitcoin
ETFs was based on the hope of large inflows from institutional investors
who sought a more liquid way to allocate to the asset class, there remains
some challenges for the fundamental investment case for crypto.

          • Investor requirements remain restrictive
          •Security concerns remain
          • There is little correlation between Bitcoin “halving” and improved
          performance

Save the date to join us for a panel discussion on the latest updates from
Spot Bitcoin ETF issuers and considerations fiduciaries must be aware of
when considering Spot Bitcoin ETFs in a 401(k) lineup. A formal invitation
will follow which will include our speaker lineup and event location.
