Experience

Steve has more than 30 years of wealth management and investment experience. He is a graduate of the Indiana University School of Business, holds a Juris Doctor from the University of Notre Dame Law School, and a Masters of Law in Taxation from the DePaul University School of Law. In terms of his professional credentials, he was a Certified Public Accountant at Touche Ross & Co., and presently holds the professional designation of Certified Investment Management Analyst®. Prior to teaming with Mike Dawson at Merrill Lynch and Deutsche Bank, his investment career has included Alliance Capital, Managing Director at Oppenheimer & Co., and President of the Wealth Management at Sanders Morris Harris.

Mike has over 45 years of private wealth management and investment experience. He received both a BBA & MBA degree in Finance from The University of Texas - Austin. He has been professionally recognized as one of the Top 100 Financial Advisors in the country three times. He began his career as a Private Wealth Advisor at Goldman Sachs, where he spent 30 years. He has also been a Private Wealth Advisor at Merrill Lynch PBIG, and a Director at Deutsche Bank. He has worked at UBS for more than 10 years.

Andrew Kaminsky has worked in financial services for over 20 years.  He studied at Brandeis University Waltham, MA and has BA in American Studies

Andrew and wife Heidi of 7 years have a son Oliver who is 6-year-old.  Outside of the office, Andrew enjoys Golf, basketball, softball, coaching Oliver’s sports teams, traveling, and spending  time with his family.

Kendyl Smith oversees client administration for the Dawson Cordill team. She has earned her Series 7, 66, and Insurance licenses. Kendyl has more than 5 years experience in the financial services industry. She received a B.S. in Commerce and Business from Rhodes College in Memphis, TN.
