Senior Vice President–Wealth Management
Whether due to his upbringing as part of a big, close-knit Italian family or to the many situations he’s helped families navigate over his 30+ year career as an investment manager, families are Mark DeSalvo’s focus. More specifically, Mark and his team take a personalized approach to helping multigenerational families meet their goals by developing and implementing individually tailored financial plans and investment strategies.
Mark began his career in wealth management in 1987 after graduating from East Carolina University with a B.B.A. in finance. Over his career he has held positions as a Financial Advisor and as a Branch Manager with Morgan Stanley and RBC Wealth Management. Mark joined the Norfolk office of UBS in 2011.
As the head of the Generational Wealth Management group, Mark keeps busy in the office, as well as out of the office. In addition to volunteering with Food Bank of Southeastern Virginia and Children’s Hospital of The Kings Daughters, Mark is an avid long-distance biker and also plays in a classic rock band. Mark has three daughters and lives in Chesapeake, VA.
