Jana is one of a select group recognized as a UBS Private Wealth Advisor. In 2016/2017, she Co-Chaired the Financial Advisor Advisory Council, a group of 15 Financial Advisors in the U.S. Jana graduated Phi Beta Kappa, Senior Scholar, from the University of Arkansas in 1984.

 

Community Involvement and Interests
Jana has served on the boards of Fifty Forward and Nashville Public Television. She was president of Fifty Forward Endowment, Breakfast Club of Nashville, and Middle Tennessee Estate Planning Council.

Jana enjoys practicing and teaching yoga as a hobby, A beach and a book are two of her favorite things.

Nick loves being involved in the community, supporting the causes and people he is passionate about. He serves on the Board of the Nashville Symphony and his church Finance and Giving Committees, is a graduate of Young Leaders Council, volunteers for Junior Achievement and Habitat for Humanity, belongs to the Estate Planning Council and Phoenix Club of Nashville, and spent a decade as the Treasurer and Secretary of Amputee Blade Runners.

He and his wife, Connie, and their daughter, Grace, live in Green Hills and outside of the office you can find them exploring Nashville's incredible culinary, cultural, music, and outdoor experiences

Chris harbors a lifelong love for analytics and strategy, which led him to intern at UBS while in college. He studied at The Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania while earning his CIMA® designation. After completing his educational coursework through Pepperdine University, Chris obtained his CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER®TM certification. Community Involvement and Interests
Chris serves as President of the FiftyForward Endowment board, and is the past Chair of its Investment Committee.  He supports Gilda’s Club of Middle Tennessee on its Development committee and as the Membership Chair of the Associate Board. He also serves on the Warhol Society Board with the Frist Art Museum. Past service includes the Young Alumni Council of his alma mater, Belmont University.  Chris loves spending time with his family and supporting his children’s schools and their church.

Angelina loves helping and caring for animals, and assisted non-profits Rebuilding Together and Houston Pets Alive, in Houston Texas, with clean up and displaced animals after Hurricane Harvey in 2017.  In recent years, Angelina has dedicated herself to raising funds for local rescue shelters that save, rehabilitate, and rehome animals in need. Before joining Family Wealth Advisors in 2022, Trey was a founding member of Bernstein’s Nashville Private Wealth Management office, where he specialized in developing detailed and personalized wealth forecasting analyses for clients. He earned his B.A. in Economics from the University of Kentucky in 2017.

Olivia has a passion for her community and serving those around her. She is a graduate of Young Leaders Council, served on the Young Professionals Board for Special Olympics TN, volunteers at Vanderbilt Children’s Hospital, is a member of the Junior League of Nashville, and is active in her church, Covenant Presbyterian.

Mike’s role is to facilitate projects and resources of the Family Wealth Advisors team so that other team members’ time can be spent working directly with clients. He manages marketing and events to enable the team to showcase and articulate Family Wealth Advisors’ unique capabilities in private wealth management. His experience in other business areas of UBS allowed him to develop a range of skills and a deep understanding of internal processes valuable to the Family Wealth Advisors team.

Mike graduated from Miami University with a Bachelor of Science in Marketing with a minor in Entrepreneurship in 2022. Mike is licensed with his Series 7, 66, and currently pursuing the CFP® designation. He joined the firm in 2022 and served as an associate within the Wealth Advice Center and the Workplace Wealth Solutions teams before joining Family Wealth Advisors.

 

Community Involvement & Personal Interests
In his free time, Mike enjoys supporting and helping communities in need, and is especially interested in organizations dedicated to veterans and first responders.

    Executive Director

    Family Office Design & Governance Strategist

    Professional History
    Mark joined UBS as the Family Office Design and Governance Specialist in the Family Office Solutions (FOS) team within Private Wealth Management. The Family Office Solutions team holistically serves $100m+ clients and family offices in partnership with Private Wealth Advisors. In his role, Mark provides guidance on the family office space and is a thought-partner to families with significant wealth. He advises families across the Americas on family office design, structure, governance and operational best practices.

    Prior to joining UBS, Mark spent several years with a NYC based investment advisory firm. Here, he built the firms family office platform, which included designing the infrastructure, services, tech solutions and vetted third party professionals such as law and tax advisory firms. He also counseled families on their family office structuring, tax, estate planning, philanthropy and family governance initiatives. He advised several families on liquidity event planning as part of the sale of their operating business.

    Prior to joining the investment advisory firm, Mark spent a decade at a large single-family office where he served as General Counsel to a dynastic, multi- generational family. Here, he advised on family office structuring, governance design, personal, estate and income tax issues, as well as business formation and operations, investment due diligence and real estate development. He also counseled the family on the sale of their publicly traded real estate company to Brookfield Asset Management. Mark serves as a trustee and Chair of the Governance Committee at the Lillian and Betty Ratner School in Cleveland, Ohio

    Mark received a B.S.E. from Kent State University in 2004 and his J.D. from Case Western Reserve University in 2010. He holds his Series 65, 63 and Series 7 licenses.
  • Matthew Newton

    Executive Director

    Art Advisory Specialist, Family Office Solutions

    Professional History
    Matthew is an Executive Director and Art Advisory Specialist on the Family Office Solutions (FOS) team within Private Wealth Management. FOS holistically serves $100mm+ clients and family offices in partnership with Private Wealth Advisors. Through the UBS Art Advisory, Matthew partners with UHNW clients of UBS to help them build, manage, and plan for exceptional lasting collections in context of their overall wealth management. Topics of guidance include collecting vision and strategy, navigating the art market, organizing and caring for a collection, and strategic legacy planning. Additionally, Matthew educates Private Wealth Advisors on art and collecting to help them connect meaningfully with clients in their passion asset.

    Prior to working in financial services, Matthew developed a decade-plus career in the commercial art world, culminating as Associate Director at Michael Rosenfeld Gallery LLC, New York where he contributed directly to the curatorial vision of gallery exhibitions, directed the global art fair program, managed strategic initiatives including large-scale public commissions, artist estate management, and ambitious museum lending efforts. His integrated hands-on art world experiences provide an array of resources and perspectives in service of comprehensive collecting guidance.

    Matthew built the Art Advisory service in the United States to complement UBS’s global commitment to art collecting with a bespoke independent service for top collectors and clients of the firm. It is now a resource for collectors across the country seeking independent support and connectivity to art world leaders, institutions, vendor networks, and other collectors.

    Outside of UBS, Matthew is a proud board member of Artadia, a nonprofit grantmaker and nationwide community of visual artists, curators, and patrons.

    Liam McCormick

    Executive Director, Senior Strategist, Central Division

    Professional History
    As a Senior Strategist with Family Advisory and Philanthropy Services Americas, Liam works with families helping them understand their relationship with money, values and philanthropic intent. Focus is placed on the intersection of the five types of capital; human, intellectual, social, foundational and financial. Family Advisory and Philanthropy Services is a thought partner to Financial Advisors and exceptional client families supporting wealth transition, family governance, and philanthropy as families seek guidance in developing cohesive strategies to bridge generations and build legacy.

    Prior to UBS, Liam stewarded relationships with high impact donors for a number of international organizations, including Habitat for Humanity, Opportunity International UK and The Prince’s Trust. As a consultant, he developed leadership development programs with the Prince’s Trust and Kore Venture equipping young inheritors to navigate the complexities of wealth. A former British Army Officer with international experience in command, staff appointments and training.

    Community Involvement
    Liam is a board member of Young Life International, Senior coach for the Atlanta Youth Rugby under 12 Buckhead team, and member of the Vestry leadership team for Trinity Anglican Westside Church.

    Education

    A graduate of Birmingham University in the UK, Liam continued his education at The Royal Military Academy Sandhurst, where the motto ‘serve to lead’ informed his leadership style. He holds an executive coaching advanced certificate from University of the West of England and leadership coaching certificate from the Resurgo Trust. Liam lives in Atlanta with his wife and three sons.

    Structured Solutions Consultant

    Chuck is responsible for educating Financial Advisors on the benefits and risk considerations associated with incorporating Structured Investments into client portfolios.  He assists advisors in delivering best in class solutions from our market-leading Open Architecture platform, including implementation of portfolio and tactical strategies based on WM Research and the current market environment. 

    Professional History

    Chuck joined UBS in 2003 and has held roles in both the Investment Bank and Wealth Management divisions. Prior to his current role he worked in the Investment Bank's Fixed Income division specializing in Structured Product development and marketing. He has over 30 years of financial services experience advising high net worth clients.
