    As founder of the team, Jana has spent her entire financial career as a financial planner to individuals & families. She earned her Certified Financial Planner™ (CFP®) designation in 1999. Jana studied at the University of Chicago Booth School of Business while earning her Certified Private Wealth Advisor® (CPWA®) & Certified Exit Planning Advisor designations, & also holds her CIMA®. She has built a reputation among peers as a highly experienced planner for high net worth families, offering her clients sincere, time-tested financial guidance. In 2016/2017, she served as Co-Chair of the Financial Advisor Advisory Council (FAAC), a group of 15 Financial Advisors throughout the U.S. Jana graduated Phi Beta Kappa as a Senior Scholar from the University of Arkansas in 1984.

     

    Community involvement

    Jana’s passion around aging issues led her to serve on the board of FiftyForward. She served as president of the FiftyForward Endowment as well as Breakfast Club of Nashville, & is the incoming President of the Estate Planning Council of Middle TN. She currently serves on the board of the West End Home Foundation.

      Nick holds that truly successful wealth management can only be achieved though comprehensive financial planning relationships which seek to solve the complex estate, financial, risk, and tax challenges faced by our clients, their families, and their businesses.       Nick is a Certified Financial PlannerTM (CFP®) and a licensed member of the Tennessee Bar. He specializes in estate and philanthropic planning, as well as educating and engaging future generations within client families. A Vanderbilt graduate and avid 'Dores fan, he has degrees in anthropology and political science and later received his Juris Doctor from the University of Memphis' Cecil C. Humphreys School of Law. Nick is one of a select number of UBS advisors across the firm who is authorized to work as an Endowment & Foundation Consultant.

       

      Community involvement

      Nick is active in a number of local non-profits; he is a graduate of the Young Leaders Council, volunteers for Junior Achievement and Habitat for Humanity, serves as chair of the Associate Board and is a member of the Board of Directors of The Nashville Symphony, and is an active member of the Estate Planning Council of Middle Tennessee and the Phoenix Club of Nashville.

      He and his wife, Connie, live in Green Hills and outside of the office you can find them around town exploring Nashville's incredible food, music, and outdoor experiences.

            Chris knows the best advice comes from an extremely deep dive into every aspect of a client’s financial plan. Careful analysis and attention to detail inform his every action, from asset allocation to portfolio analysis to life and long-term care insurance policy design. Examining the very minute details of the plan is a critical step in properly analyzing and creating an actionable path for the client. Chris measures his success by accurate and timely execution of the work he does.

            Credentials and education

            Chris harbors a lifelong love for analytics and strategy. While interning at UBS during college, he realized he had found his career path. Chris holds his Series 7 & 66 securities licenses as well as the Tennessee life, health and accident insurance license. Chris studied at The Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania while earning his CIMA® designation.  After completing his educational coursework through Pepperdine University, Chris obtained his CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNERTM certification, having since passed the examination and necessary requirements.  He believes that continuing to learn is the way to become even more relevant and valuable to our clients. Chris graduated from Belmont University with a Bachelor of Science in mathematics in 2008.

            Community involvement

            Chris serves as the Treasurer on the board of the FiftyForward Endowment, and is the past Chair of the Investment Committee.  He also serves on the Associate Board for the Gilda’s Club of Middle Tennessee.  He has served on the Belmont University Young Alumni Council and is a member of the Gallatin Masonic Lodge. He enjoys time with his family and raising money for children and families benefiting from St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.

                  Angelina participated in the Susan G Komen 3 Day walk in 2013 and 2014 to raise money for Breast Cancer Research in San Diego. She also assisted non-profit, Rebuilding Together and Houston Pets Alive, in Houston Texas after hurricane Harvey with clean up and displaced animals 2017. In recent years, Angelina has helped raise money for families in need through local charity events within her community.

                        Prior joining our team, Paul was a founding member of Bernstein’s Nashville Private Wealth Management office. There he proactively worked directly with clients, created detailed and custom wealth forecasting analyses for every client situation, and served as team-lead. Paul graduated from the University of Kentucky in 2017 where he was a member of the Phi Deuteron chapter of Phi Sigma Kappa.
