Bob oversees a three-person team providing wealth management services to families, individuals and endowments/foundations. He has extensive experience in developing investment policy, portfolio construction, and on-going monitoring of client portfolios to help achieve specific objectives. Bob's primary role is to understand his clients' specific and unique needs and provide objective advice on asset allocation, portfolio construction and strategy selection. Bob attended the University of California at Berkeley (BA, '76) and the American Graduate School of International Management (MBA, '78).

Dean graduated from the State University of New York at Albany in 2001 with a BA in Philosophy (Cum Laude). Mr. Civitello has been employed by UBS since 2001 and has been working with Robert Whelan since 2003. Dean focuses on asset allocation and manager research, with a particular focus on overseeing the group's fixed income strategies. Dean is a CFA (Chartered Financial Analyst) Charterholder and member of the CFA Institute & CFA Society of San Francisco.

Samantha graduated from California State University, Long Beach in 2018 with a BS in Business Administration.  Prior to joining UBS and Robert Whelan's team in 2019, she worked for a family-owned company in the pulp and paper industry as an Office Manager, where she managed client orders, oversaw daily operations, supervised custom orders, and provide after-sales service. 

Samantha works exclusively for Mr. Whelan’s 3-person team, providing administrative, organizational and communications support to the team’s high net worth and ultra-high net worth clientele.  Samantha helps set the team’s high standards of client service, and is committed to delivering a customer experience that always meets or exceeds client expectations.
