To Private Wealth Advisor Greg Cash, wealth management is complex and challenging, but it’s how you listen to clients that makes all the difference in people’s lives. He believes all good advice stems from finding out what matters most to each client. Greg became interested in financial services while studying micro- and macroeconomics, as well as behavioral finance, while at UVA. He found it to be an industry where you could add value to people’s lives in tangible ways. Today, as cofounder of UBS Private Wealth team Wickham Cash Partners, Greg can do just that.

“ We strive to be the primary advisor that UHNW families and companies rely on to help them reach their financial goals and navigate the obstacles that regularly get in the way. That takes a combination of empathetic listening, problem-solving skills and the years of experience that our team brings to the table.” – Gregory Cash

North Moore is a Private Wealth Advisor and Portfolio Manager for the UBS Private Wealth team Wickham Cash Partners. He has more than 15 years of experience advising high net worth families on the unique complexities of multigenerational wealth.
After an early career managing stock option plans for Fortune 500 companies and advising C-suite executives on long-term wealth accumulation strategies, North joined the Wickham Cash Partners team in 2011. He focuses primarily on advising entrepreneurs, corporate executives and their families. North has broad experience helping clients navigate the disposition or acquisition of private businesses, private equity sponsored buyouts for high-level management, de-risking concentrated positions in publicly traded company stock and multigenerational wealth transfer for highly successful families.

“ We have had the privilege to work with some of the most successful entrepreneurs and executives in the country. The common thread among all of them is that they inherently know they’ve been successful but seek advice in how to crystallize the purpose for their wealth. That’s my favorite part of the job—advancing the vision of what is possible and charting the course for long-term success.”
– J. North Moore III

Ray’s fascination with the financial markets began early in life when he won his eighth-grade stock-picking contest. His big win led to lifelong inspiration that continues to this day and grows stronger all the time. Before joining the financial industry 19 years ago, he owned a men’s lifestyle clothing line in which he designed, manufactured, sold and distributed his products. His attention to detail and natural inquisitiveness that fueled his success in that field, serve him well today in his private wealth management career and as a valued Financial Advisor for his team, Wickham Cash Partners.
Relationship management, client education, communication and care are Ray’s priorities on the team. Because he’s found that financial discussions are often fraught with emotional triggers, he strives to support clients with more balanced, well-informed insights, creating space for grounded decisions based on sound principles.
“ The foundation of any relationship is confidence. I earn and maintain the confidence of my clients when they consistently see that my words and actions align. Transparency, honesty and integrity are my guiding principles in business and in life.”
– Ray Marshall Evans III

- Ray is an avid golfer and skier, and he loves spending time on all kinds of boats.
- His passion for the last 20 years has been spending time with family and raising his children to be compassionate, inclusive and productive individuals.

We advise business owners and entrepreneurs across every stage of the business life cycle, with a focus on presale planning. When it comes to exiting your business, we encourage you to bring us into these discussions early on. In some cases, it can take five years or more to exit a business, so the sooner you begin preparing for the sale, the better.
Our early involvement is key to helping ensure the company is market ready. But we also want to help ensure you’re well positioned to pursue your financial goals.
- The key to monetizing your business is timing. We help you monitor industry trends and business cycles to identify an opportune time for the sale.
- To help inform our recommendations about deal structure, valuation opportunities and tax considerations, we’ll coordinate with our network of both third-party and UBS experts in:
- M&A advisory services
- Private equity and debt financing
- Risk management
- Estate planning strategies
- A substantial liquidity event presents a number of estate, tax, wealth transfer and philanthropic planning considerations. Working with the UBS Advanced Planning team, we focus on providing the wealth planning advice you need.
Are you considering an exit from your business? From investment banking to business transition planning to post-liquidity wealth management, we have the experience to help you with your future plans for your business. We can connect you to the resources you need to solve any challenge that may arise.
With the attention of a boutique family office and access to resources across the firm, we offer select clients comprehensive services that look well beyond their investment needs.
Our process
While our recommendations are often aligned with firmwide research, we are, by nature, independent thinkers who deliver advice based on our collective knowledge of the markets and actual experience helping clients navigate their complex wealth through many different market cycles. Depending on where you are in your life, our planning conversations may focus on liquidity management, estate planning strategies, tax and legal structures such as trusts and philanthropic vehicles, your cash flow needs or asset replacement solutions such as insurance.
Liquidity. Longevity. Legacy.
Our process begins with questions and discussions that help us focus on what’s important to you. Then, we can help you organize your financial life into three key strategies: Liquidity—to help provide cash flow for short-term expenses, Longevity—for longer-term needs and Legacy—for needs that go beyond your own.
