Financial solutions for peace of mind
Caring for clients’ financial wellbeing comes naturally to Shelley. Growing up in a
family of 8, she understands the importance of building relationships. Shelley is
passionate about creating custom solutions and a dialogue with clients that go far
beyond a financial checklist. The Waters Group does not believe in “cookie cutter”
solutions. We address complex financial challenges unique to every client. Shelley’s
professional guidance brings over three decades of experience in wealth
management for multigenerational affluent families, business owners and
executives. The world is full of uncertainty. That’s why clients count on us for
peace of mind about their wealth.
Time is the real treasure
Meeting clients two to four times a year is essential. This allows us to listen for
changes in our clients’ lives that may impact their goals, risk tolerance or financial
well-being. Our goal is to identify potential red flags to avoid any issue. We conduct
a deep dive into investment strategy, tax efficiency and other key financial topics.
Our meetings end with a detailed next step agenda. Your overall wealth is important
— family, retirement, selling a business, education, healthcare, estate planning,
taxes, and social security. Our goal is to be your personal CFO, so you can spend
more time doing what you love with the people you care about most.
Life
Shelley loves to spend time with her family saltwater fishing and on beach vacations. She is passionate about photography and forever chasing her personal best trout. Shelley’s community involvement spans 45 years and includes serving the Education for Tomorrow Alliance, The Optimist Club, The Chamber of Commerce and The Woodlands Economic Development Partnership, The Woodlands Waterway Arts Festival, and Houston’s 5th Ward serving at-risk youth.

The benefits of establishing shared financial goals
As life expectancies rise, effective retirement planning is essential for long-term financial security. For couples, this means coordinating retirement savings to maximize benefits together.
What’s really important to you—today and for the long term? UBS Wealth Way starts with questions and discussions that can help you organize your financial life into three key dimensions: Liquidity—to help provide cash flow for short-term expenses, Longevity—for longer-term needs and Legacy—for needs that go beyond your own.
UBS Wealth Way is an approach incorporating Liquidity. Longevity. Legacy. strategies that UBS Financial Services Inc. and our Financial Advisors can use to assist clients in exploring and pursuing their wealth management needs and goals over different time frames. This approach is not a promise or guarantee that wealth, or any financial results, can or will be achieved. All investments involve the risk of loss, including the risk of loss of the entire investment. Time frames may vary. Strategies are subject to individual client goals, objectives and suitability.
To help you start the new year with confidence, watch our US House View monthly replay where Jason Draho, Head of Asset Allocation, and Kurt Reiman, Head of Fixed Income, will outline top ideas for 2025, share key investment insights, and provide strategies for achieving long-term investment success.
