Janae received her BA in Economics from the University of Chicago in 2006 where she was captain of the varsity basketball team. After college, she went on to work at Credit Suisse in Fixed Income Sales in Chicago, working with an institutional client base that included several Fortune 500 companies. She analyzed bonds, proposed trade ideas and executed trades for money managers, insurance companies and hedge funds. Since the average trade size was $15 million per trade, her attention to detail was especially important.
After careful thought, she decided to join UBS in Global Wealth Management with a focus in financial planning. Merging her desire to help people with her investment expertise, it has been a natural fit for her. As a lifelong learner, she earned the CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ certification which is the standard of excellence in financial planning. She has developed and implemented financial plans for business owners, real estate developers, entrepreneurs, executives, investors, families, and individuals. Though Wealth Management is complex, Janae uses her teaching background to deliver information in a way that is understandable.
