John is a Sr. Vice President-Wealth Management and Financial Advisor at UBS. As a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER®™, John and his team offer clients comprehensive wealth management expertise focusing on having a tremendous understanding of each individual or families unique personal and financial goals and objectives.

Prior to joining UBS in 2012, John finished his athletic career after playing four seasons of professional basketball internationally. A graduate of the University of Minnesota Duluth’s Labovitz School of Business, he holds an M.B.A. as well as a BBA with an emphasis in finance. John earned a scholarship as he competed on the basketball team and as a pitcher for the baseball team. Off the court he was named the university’s Male Scholar Athlete as well as being the recipient of many All-Conference academic accolades in both sports

With his experiences in international basketball, John has become an avid traveler. Having lived in Western Australia and Taipei during his playing career, he has continued his travels to 14 additional countries. A native of Bloomington, MN he also enjoys participating in the local offerings of hunting, fishing, boating, and snowboarding. Today, John also enjoys spending time in Arizona where he is an avid golfer.

John's unique combination of experience and perspective has allowed him to successfully communicate and deliver a full range of wealth services for business owners, high-net-worth individuals & families. He has a passion for working with people and helping them to achieve their financial goals.

Jana is passionate about building meaningful relationships with the families she serves and helping them navigate important financial decisions with confidence. She focuses on developing detailed, comprehensive financial plans that act as a roadmap for coordinating her clients’ investment and estate planning goals.

Before joining UBS, Jana earned her undergraduate degree from the University of Minnesota–Twin Cities in 2017. She holds the CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER® (CFP®) designation and is also an Accredited Wealth Management Advisor™.

Jana lives in Bloomington, Minnesota, with her husband and their two dogs. Outside the office, she enjoys golfing, spending time on the lake, and skiing during the winter months.

Drew joined our team in 2024 as a recent graduate from St. John’s University where he received a Bachelor of Science in Business along with a minor in Data Analytics. He recently passed his Series 7 licensing exam and is looking forward to learning more and growing on our team as a Client Associate. He currently lives in St. Louis Park and spends his free time working out, hunting, fishing, and spending time with friends and family. He also enjoys cheering on the Green Bay Packers and the Minnesota Timberwolves whenever he can catch a game.

Lisa Buck recently transitioned to our team and has been an outstanding internal partner within UBS since 2019. Over her career, Lisa has gained a wealth of experience in operations, administration, and office applications and technology. Her primary goal is to help simplify the client experience and ensure everything runs smoothly on the team.

On a personal note, Lisa is a lifelong Minnesotan and graduated from Augsburg University with a Business Communication and Sociology degree. She and her husband, Paul, have four adult children and love to travel to see them whenever they can. In her free time, she enjoys hiking, biking, pickleball, yoga, mahjong, and occasional visits to a winery or brewery.
