Where are you today and where do you want to be tomorrow? We recognize that a lasting relationship starts by listening and understanding your priorities and concerns. We'll work together to look at the big picture, discuss your vision for the future and help you confidently pursue your life goals.
Our mission is to provide quality strategies customized to your needs. Our goal is to be your primary source of financial advice. To this end, we concentrate our efforts on developing long-term relationships through a commitment to quality client service.
Brenda started in the financial services industry over 35 years ago. During that time, she has evolved a practice focused on financial planning and customized investment strategies. She draws on her extensive knowledge and experience to help clients navigate the complexities of wealth and invest for their goals. In 2012, Brenda distinguished herself from her peers by earning her Wealth Advisor designation, which required a rigorous training program focused on deepening her wealth management insight.
She is a Memphis native, receiving her BBA from The University of Memphis. She has three children with her late husband and two step children. She has served as a member and volunteer with The Junior League of Memphis and is active in the alumni association. Much of her philanthropic efforts and time outside the office are focused on her son's school and her church community and choir. Brenda loves to travel with her husband, Bob, and spend time with her two dogs.
Jordan joined Brenda's team in 2011 and her primary role is helping the team plan for each client's investment goals and providing the research needed to make investment decisions. After obtaining a Masters of Science in Business Administration from The University of Memphis, she achieved her CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER designation in 2014. She spends time each year reviewing tax changes, planning strategies, and employer retirement plans to better inform their clients.
Outside the office, Jordan resides in East Memphis with her husband, son, and three dogs. She is an avid chef and gardener. She is a current board member at Page Robbins Adult Day Center, on the FedEx St. Jude Classic Courses & Cocktails committee, and is active with her church.
Melanie's role on the team is to ensure that every client receives the full UBS client experience. She is an expert in servicing client accounts, our banking capabilities, and managing the needs of multigenerational households. Prior to joining Vanderslice Edmundson Wealth Management in 2017, Melanie had 11 years of experience with UBS and has over 22 years of experience in financial services. She holds a Series 7 and 63 license.
She is originally from Memphis and received her BBA in Business Management from The University of Memphis. Melanie now lives in Germantown with her husband and son and their family pets, Sienna and Daisy. She and her husband are very active in their church community and spend time supporting their son's school. Melanie also volunteers through UBS initiatives each year with Room in the Inn, Red Zone Ministries, and the Mid-South Food Bank.

What’s really important to you—today and for the long term? UBS Wealth Way starts with questions and discussions that can help you organize your financial life into three key dimensions: Liquidity—to help provide cash flow for short-term expenses, Longevity—for longer-term needs and Legacy—for needs that go beyond your own.
UBS Wealth Way is an approach incorporating Liquidity. Longevity. Legacy. strategies that UBS Financial Services Inc. and our Financial Advisors can use to assist clients in exploring and pursuing their wealth management needs and goals over different time frames. This approach is not a promise or guarantee that wealth, or any financial results, can or will be achieved. All investments involve the risk of loss, including the risk of loss of the entire investment. Time frames may vary. Strategies are subject to individual client goals, objectives and suitability.
Leslie Falconio, Head of Taxable Fixed Income Strategy CIO Americas, Jason Draho, Head of Asset Allocation, CIO Americas, and Shane Lieberman, Senior Advisor, Governmental Affairs US discussed the US Government shutdown and how investors can best position themselves for the remainder of 2025.
