Errett joined UBS in 2008, and has now accumulated 20 years of experience in the financial services industry. He began his career in 1993 at the financial markets of the Chicago Board of Trade. As a UBS Wealth Advisor, Errett advises a select group of individuals, families, and business owners. His area of expertise focuses on serving high net worth clients.
Errett provides exceptional service and takes a conservative, long-term approach to investing. He has built long-lasting relationships with his clients; including corporate executives, individuals, charitable organizations and business owners. Using fundamental and technical analysis, he seeks to identify and capitalize on undervalued companies and realize potential investment ideas for his clients. He looks for companies that exhibit a history of earnings growth coupled with a dynamic management team that prioritizes the enhancement of shareholder value. To provide the best service while working with clients in financial and estate planning, Errett uses his professional relationships with attorneys to advise his clients on how to best preserve and create their wealth, as well as how to better adapt to new tax law changes, and utilize insurance solutions to maximize wealth transfers to heirs. Errett's long-term approach often provides financial security for several generations beyond an individual client relationship.
Errett earned a B.A. in political science from University of Arizona and holds Series 7 and 66 securities licenses, as well as life insurance and variable annuities licenses. Being involved in his community, Errett is currently serving on the Board of Directors of High Jump, the Alumni Board of the Latin School of Chicago, the Advisory Council of the Berkshire School, and the Advisory Board of the Gary Comer Youth Center. When not at work, he enjoys traveling, skiing, playing squash, and spending time with his family. He and his wife live in Chicago with their three children.

Collective years of experience
4 person
seasoned team
With advance planning, affluent families become active stewards of their family wealth, securing a sound financial legacy for future generations.
Focus and build your legacy
Zeroing in on your wealth’s purpose helps lay the groundwork for your legacy. We’ll help you clarify and define your family’s values, goals and objectives—then put a plan in place for the life you envision for you and your loved ones.
Estate planning strategies
Estate planning and taxation priorities can impact your long-term goals and future generations. Our team can help educate younger generations on the tools necessary to be good stewards of family wealth for generations to come.
Strategic gifting
We can help you strategize annual gift giving within the family and to outside sources, incorporating taxation considerations into the fold.
Comprehensive advice
Knowing the pitfalls and obstacles that can threaten multigenerational wealth is our job. We’ll help chart a clear course for future spending, investing and transferring wealth for your family’s future.
Between the numbers
So much of what secures family wealth for generations to come is between the numbers: family cohesiveness, governance, philanthropy and mentoring all play a big part in your family’s future financial success. Understanding and implementing these principles help lay the groundwork for the planning and investing that follows.
Whether you’re a CEO at the height of your career or a senior executive planning for retirement, we have the experience, resources and tools to help you manage your finances.
Liquidity and transition planning
Whether you’re looking to acquire, expand or exit, our goal is bringing long-term value to you and your company. Our bespoke planning process begins with critical pre-liquidity planning, helping identify tax-efficient liquidity sources for your short- and long-term needs—and follows through to execution and closing.
Equity and compensation planning
Building a secure plan to execute stock options or sell company shares within a corporate window means giving strategic thought to tax and privacy considerations. We can help guide your choices around cash flow, tax planning and liquidity needs.
A confident exit
It can take as long as five years to confidently exit the business you’ve built and centered your life around. Early planning is key. From critical pre-liquidity planning to execution and closing, we’ll develop a comprehensive strategy tailored to your long-term goals.
A holistic picture
Professional, personal and financial factors can impact sales, transitions and mergers. We take a look at the whole picture to zero in on your company’s distinct needs.
The next chapter
Our customized strategy includes important tax-planning considerations for your unique long-term financial goals, well beyond the sale.
Entertainers and professional athletes occupy a unique spot, often seeing peak earnings during a short window early in their lives. The key to future security is in capitalizing on the now. We’ll help customize a long-term financial picture around your values.
Purpose and legacy
As financial advocates and advisors working on your behalf, we dig deep to understand your purpose and legacy. Whether that’s helping you secure a financial future for your family or community, or giving back to a cause near and dear to your heart, we can help create a clear, structured path for a secure financial future.
Long-term picture
Short-lived earnings can easily climb well above what an average individual earns in a lifetime, and this unusual earning period presents specific financial challenges and considerations to preserve wealth for a life span.
Budgeting and cash management
Entertainers and athletes often receive their annual salary during certain months or weeks of the year and the need to account for the period in between is paramount to a healthy financial future. We can help establish an annual budget with monthly or periodic reviews, and help align your cash flows, assets and resources.
Estate planning strategies
Estate planning is a crucial piece of the puzzle, acting as a safety net that helps preserve the value of your assets and minimize disbursement wait times for loved ones.
Both sides of your balance sheet
We can help make credit count, and advise you on how to borrow to open opportunities beyond saving and investing. Meanwhile, we’ll guide you on how to preserve and help grow your immediate assets to ensure they’ll be there for generations to come.
