Kristi Thelen is an Senior Institutional Consultant for UBS in Atlanta, Georgia. Since joining the firm in 2000, she has assisted our institutional clients with investment policy, asset allocation, investment search and selection, as well as performance monitoring. She is responsible for relationship management and business development.
Mrs. Thelen holds an MBA from Georgia State University. She is a Certified Financial PlannerTM and a Certified Investment Management Analyst®, a designation obtained through the University of Pennsylvania's Wharton School of Business. Kristi is a current member of the Investment Management Consultant's Association (IMCA).
Kristi resides in Atlanta with her husband, Garon, and their two children.

Austin joined UBS in 2009, and focuses on all aspects of Institutional Consulting including asset allocation, performance reporting, Investment Policy assistance, pension de-risking analysis and implementation, and investment manager search.
Austin is an active alumnus and received a Bachelor of Science Degree in Business Administration from Elon University. He has been awarded the Chartered Retirement Plans SpecialistSM designation, representing knowledge of plan design, fiduciary liabilities, investment prudence, administration provider evaluation, and plan cost analysis. Additionally, he has been awarded the Accredited Wealth Management AdvisorSM designation. This designation represents knowledge of asset management, allocation and selection; investment performance and strategies; and taxation issues pertaining to investments for a broad range of investors, including small businesses and deferred compensation plans. Austin is a member of the Investment Management Consultants Association (IMCA). He has received the designation of Certified Investment Management AnalystSM (CIMA®), and attended the IMCA, CIMA program at the University of Pennsylvania, Wharton School.

Van works with the goal of serving the needs of a limited number of investors and entrepreneurs who possess substantial wealth. Van specializes in the personalized construction and ongoing management of client portfolios. He also helps clients coordinate their financial and legacy strategies with the clients other trusted advisors.
Van is a Certified Investment Management Analyst ("CIMA") and has spent his entire 35 year career serving ultra high net worth clients, their families, and corporate and philanthropic entities. He was the Co-Chair of the UBS FA Advisory Council to the firms Executive Committee. Van graduated from the University of Georgia in 1979 with BBA in Finance.
In Van's free time, he enjoys the outdoors, including water skiing with his family at Lake Blue Ridge, and hunting and fishing with his son Lee and other friends. He is also active in Trinity Community Ministries Trinity House in Atlanta, and the 100 Black Men of Atlanta. Van and his wife, Cindy, have three kids, Sarah, Lee and Janie.

Scott has more than 24 years of experience and focuses on the development and execution of customized investment strategies and solutions, for both individual and institutional clients. He has extensive experience specializing in developing investment policy statements, asset allocation modeling, investment manager and mutual fund evaluations, portfolio analysis, executive life and disability, and non-qualified defined compensation plans. His institutional clients include pension plans, foundations, endowments and corporate benefit plans.
Scott is a 1985 graduate of the United States Naval Academy where he earned his B.S. in applied business management. He earned an M.B.A. in 1992 from Averett University of Virginia. Scott is a member of the Investment Management Consultants Association. Scott received the designation of Certified Investment Management Analyst (CIMA®), and attended the IMCA, CIMA program at the University of Pennsylvania, Wharton School.

His clients include pension plans, foundations, endowments and corporate benefit plans.

Ray is a member of the Investment Management Consultants Association (IMCA). Senior Wealth Strategy Associate
Certified Investment Management Analyst®
Ryan is an Institutional Analyst and Senior Wealth Strategy Associate who joined UBS in 2017. Splitting his time between Institutional Consulting and Wealth Management, Ryan specializes in all aspects of portfolio management: development of an investment policy statement (IPS), asset allocation strategy based on client risk-tolerance, investment manager analysis and selection, portfolio construction, portfolio rebalancing, and ongoing portfolio monitoring.
Ryan graduated from the University of Georgia in 2013 and is an active alumni. After receiving his Bachelors of Science in Finance he pursued a career in the investment industry. Prior to joining UBS he worked as a senior investment associate focused on investment selection, menu construction and monitoring at CAPTRUST Financial Advisors. His primary focus was growing the discretionary 3(38) fiduciary investment program and leading the firms efforts in due diligence of target-date-fund families during his tenure. He holds series 7 and 66 licenses and the Certified Investment Management Analyst (CIMA ®) designation.
Ryan resides in Atlanta with his wife, Kristin. He is an avid golfer and home-cook enthusiast.

Hampton joined UBS in 2021. He is a graduate from the University of Georgia with a BBA in Finance . Holds Chartered Financial Analyst® (CFA®) designation and Chartered Alternative Investment Analyst® (CAIA®). Previous work experience includes AIG Capital Services and BankSouth. Day to day includes performance reports, manager and investment research, and portfolio construction. Hampton helps with the daily monitoring of Institutional Accounts and Investment process and decisions. He is an avid outdoorsman, golfer, and enjoys rooting on the Georgia Bulldawgs.

Natalia has over 15 years of experience in the financial services industry. She joined UBS as a Senior Registered Client Service Associate in 2016. Prior to UBS, Natalia worked at Wachovia Securities and E*TRADE Financial. She is a graduate of the Appalachian State University in North Carolina where she earned her MBA degree.

Carrie has over 15 years of experience in the financial services industry. She began working for PaineWebber/UBS in 1994 in the Bay Area of California. She met her husband, Chuck, in 1996, and the two of them moved to Atlanta, Georgia. She began working with the UBS Institutional Consultant Group out of the midtown office in Atlanta. During her time with this group she was an Investment Associate to the group’s institutional clients and high net worth individual (family) clients. She serviced pension plans, employee-sponsored retirement plans, trusts, endowments and foundations with investment policy, asset allocation, performance monitoring and all service related needs. Carrie, her husband and boys reside in Roswell.
