Planning for a lifetime of security

With more than 25 years of experience in the financial services industry, Thomas joined UBS in 2009. To help clients feel more secure about their future, he primarily focuses on funding retirement income as well as risk management. His approach to financial planning is to segment investments that fund short- , intermediate and long-term objectives. Thomas also has a passion for educating clients on the fundamentals of investing, making sure they understand portfolio construction and performance.

He is a Chartered Retirement Plans SpecialistSM and has earned the Series 3, 7, 63 and 65 securities licenses along with the state life, accident and health insurance licenses.

A career of meeting goals

Thomas came to Wichita in 1980 as a professional hockey player, having developed an interest in investing because of the success of his career. He stayed, however, due to his love for the community and the city. Thomas’ drive as a professional athlete is still at work today in his role as a Financial Advisor with the Brown Flaming Roulston Wealth Management Group. Despite any obstacle, he is relentless in his pursuit of his clients’ goals and objectives.

Balancing work and life

Originally from Canada, Thomas is active in the Wichita community. A current committee and past board member of Ronald McDonald House in Wichita, he has also previously been chair of the annual golf tournament, a board member of Heartspring, a leading provider of services for special needs children, and a school board member at St. Thomas Aquinas.

Thomas has three children, Sean, Anna and Erin. In his free time, he enjoys golf, music, cooking, traveling, following Wichita State sports, and spending time with friends and family.
