Gary has more than 36 years of experience working with banks and credit unions to invest their excess cash in pursuit of incremental returns. He offers a rare level of knowledge and skill in this specialized niche. Over his decades in the business, Gary has helped his clients navigate a full range of economic environments and interest rate conditions to pursue their goals. With more than $6 billion in assets under management, Gary and his team, The Credit Union Advisory Group at UBS, are experienced at finding incremental yield that fits into each client’s proscribed investment policy and portfolio structure. He understands how to scour the market for the right opportunities. Gary genuinely cares about his clients, many of whom have been with him for his entire career.
One of the keys to Gary’s success is his team’s dedication to service. They respond to clients’ questions and concerns within 24 hours, and speak to each client regularly, regardless of account size. Gary takes pride in understanding what his clients’ needs are, what their portfolios require and how their strategies evolve over time. His goal is to provide all of his clients with the sincere commitment to always have their best interests at heart.
Gary enjoys the outdoors and spends as much time as possible playing golf and hiking. He loves being out on the water, whether fishing, kayaking or boating. Gary and his wife, Dee have four sons, Jordan, Matthew, Ryan and Jackson. Jordan and Matt both work for UBS.
Before joining the team in 2007, James served as a financial advisor with Summit Financial Resources Inc. He received a B.S. in business management science from Kean University in Union, New Jersey, and holds Series 7, 31 and 66 securities licenses, as well as life and health insurance licenses. A resident of Stirling, New Jersey, James enjoys playing golf and basketball.
William has gained invaluable experience during his career. He has held positions with several well-known financial organizations, including Wachovia Securities and Morgan Stanley. He earned a B.S. in economics and finance from Fairleigh Dickinson University and subsequently obtained Series 7, 31 and 63 securities licenses, as well as life and health insurance licenses. He is a member of the CFA Institute and New York Society of Security Analysts. William and his wife live in Wood Ridge, New Jersey, with their two daughters.
Chris joined the team in 2012 as a registered client service associate. He also brings a strong background in branch technology, and is a key individual in technology updates and enhancements to the Warren branch. Chris lives in West New York, NJ with his wife Ana, and their three children.
Marisel began her career at UBS Financial Services in 2008 and has over 12 years of experience. She joined The Tantleff Group in 2020 and brings her knowledge, dedication, and exceptional client services skills to the team. She is a seasoned professional who continues her commitment to understanding each client need and provides resolutions. Her tailored approach to each situation enables her to provide clarity and confidence and maintain strong client relationship.
Marisel resides in New Jersey with her son Jonathan, Outside the office, she enjoys traveling, reading and spending time with her friends and family.
