Senior Vice President–Wealth Management
Wealth Advisor
With a streamlined wealth management process that emphasizes “one shop” convenience, exemplary service and comprehensive planning, Darrin has built a dedicated advisory team focused primarily on the needs of corporate executives and business owners with a focus in the healthcare industry. He is passionate about helping clients and their families plan for the future with a range of services, based on a deep understanding of each client’s values, goals, relationships, assets, personal process and interests. Darrin is committed to creating a “wow” experience by focusing on every aspect of his client’s financial life. In addition, Darrin has assembled an external team of financial professionals who can assist clients in areas outside of The Gold Wealth Management Group areas of expertise (i.e., taxes, insurance, estate planning).
Darrin joined UBS from Legg Mason in 2004. After completing a rigorous internal training program in 2010 Darrin earned the designation of Wealth Advisor. This designation has only been achieved by a small group of UBS advisors and has significantly broadened Darrin’s knowledge in the area of client solutions. He has earned the Series 7 and 65 securities licenses, as well as health and life insurance licenses. Darrin graduated with a B.S. degree in business from Suffolk University in Boston, where he is fondly remembered as a member of the college’s Hockey Hall of Fame.
Dedicated to giving back to the community, Darrin had a transformative experience volunteering to help reconstruct homes in New Orleans after Hurricane Katrina. While there, he realized that he could best serve his community by helping young people and families learn how to handle their finances. When he returned to Boston, he joined the board of Brook Farm Academy so he could focus on developing a financial planning curriculum for students in underserved communities. He is also actively involved with the Year Up organization. Darrin is a lifelong Boston resident. Outside of UBS, he enjoys boating, travel, surfing, fitness and is an avid reader.

Senior Wealth Strategy Associate
Before joining UBS in 2013, Sam was the executive assistant to the CEO of a life insurance company working with high net worth clients. This experience helped her to understand the importance of exceptional customer service.
Sam has a B.A. in business management and a minor in communications from Simmons College, and holds the Series 7 and 66 securities licenses. Within the Group, what Sam values most is going the extra mile for clients to provide them with a top-notch customer experience. She very much enjoys working with a team. The team environment provides her the ability to acquire a comprehensive picture of each client’s unique needs as she helps connect the dots of their financial lives—everything from setting up new accounts to working closely with estate attorneys and CPAs to create a customized experience at UBS.
After living in San Diego for the past fours years, Sam and her dog Logan just moved back to the East Coast. During her spare time, she enjoys being outdoors, taking her dog to the beach, hiking, playing field hockey, golfing, and spending time with her family in Vermont. Sam also prioritizes health and wellness, reading, and meditation.
