Mike’s education and experience give him a thorough understanding of retirement planning. He uses this knowledge to assist clients with meeting their financial goals. Mike believes that there is no substitute for planning, which is why he begins every client relationship with a thorough financial plan.

 Mike joined UBS and the Tampa Wealth Management Group in 2002. Prior to joining the team, Mike worked for 13 years as a Senior Pension Consultant at PricewaterhouseCoopers, where he was the lead consultant for such clients as the PGA Tour, Carnival Cruise Lines and several major healthcare facilities.

 Mike has a bachelor’s degree in applied mathematics. He holds the Series 7 and 66 securities licenses, as well as insurance licenses. He has also earned the Certified Financial Planner™ (CFP®) professional designation and is a past member of the Tampa Bay Estate Planning Council. Michael has served on the South Tampa YMCA Board of Directors for several years. He and his wife, Madonna, have been married since 1987 and have one daughter, Madelyn. Mike and Madonna enjoy reading, cooking, entertaining and spending time outdoors, whether it is boating, fishing, playing golf or just relaxing at the beach.

Scott develops close relationships with his clients so he can assist them with achieving their goals and dreams. He creates customized, comprehensive financial plans and tailors his client's investment plans to have the appropriate amount of risk to match their financial goals. Scott monitors and updates the team's investment portfolio models.

Scott joined UBS in 2001 after 18 years in the produce industry. He is a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNERTM (CFP®) practitioner, a Wealth Advisor, and Portfolio Manager within the UBS Portfolio Management Program. Scott earned a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration from The University of South Florida.

Scott is a sixth-generation Floridian. He and his wife, Stephanie were married in 1990 and have three children and four grandchildren. He is an elder and active member of the Evangelical Presbyterian Church, and enjoys cycling and organic gardening.

John helps create customized solutions for corporate retirement plans and high net worth families.

John is a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ and a graduate of the University of Florida with a degree in Business Administration. He began his career with Merrill Lynch in 1985 and has experience in portfolio management, retirement strategies and estate planning.  He holds his Series 7, Series 63, Series 65 and Life, Health and Variable Annuity Insurance Licenses.

John enjoys fishing, boating and sporting events. He has volunteered at various organizations including; Tampa Bay Little League, YMCA, Florida Bar Grievance Committee "13D", Metropolitan Ministries, and The Tampa General Hospital Foundation. John lives in Tampa with his wife Kathy and has two children, J.T. and Jackie.

Valerie joined UBS in 1999. In her 20 years at the firm she prides herself in building strong relationships with clients so that they know they can rely on her.  When clients come to her with questions or concerns, they know that Valerie will find the solution and will answer their questions thoroughly.  Her vast knowledge of UBS systems and procedures is key to streamlining the team's procedures and  keeping the team running smoothly. Valerie has been an integral part in hiring and training our interns and support staff.  One of Valerie's greatest passions is mentoring our interns and support staff both, within our team and branch.

In her spare time, Valerie participates in local running events, she crochets baby blankets for friends and family expecting babies, a tradition that was started by her grandmother more than 50 years ago.  Valerie and her husband Orlando enjoy spending time at the beach and hosting impromptu dinners for their friends and family.

As the team's Senior Wealth Strategy Associate, Annette develops customized financial plans for clients, assists with investment research, and handles the trading for the team.

Annette has been working in the financial industry since 2003. Prior to joining UBS in 2015, Annette was a financial paraplanner and specialized in financial planning, retirement plans, and mutual fund product research. She has also worked with International clients and traded fixed income products at Morgan Stanley.

Annette earned her Bachelor's degree in Psychology and a certificate in Performance Management from Florida State University and her M.B.A. from Nova South Eastern University. In addition, Annette holds her Series 7 and 66 licenses as well as her Life, Health, and Variable Annuities license. She is a Florida native from Miami and lives in South Tampa with her husband, two kids, and Jack Russell Terrier. On her free time, she enjoys spending time with her family.
