When I started in the business over 30 years ago, I immediately recognized the opportunity to offer true comprehensive wealth management.
Understanding the nature of growth
There's something magical about the crisp, cool air of a mountain trail and the clear ripples of a stream. Nature's beauty is remarkable, and I believe we're here to take care of it. I think managing finances is a lot like preserving nature through conservation. Both are vulnerable to things we can't control, but with some smart planning and understanding of risks, we can navigate through the ups and downs. I work closely my clients so we can build stability and consistency over the years.
A steady hand managing all the details
When I entered the financial field over 30 years ago, I saw the need for real, comprehensive wealth management. I've been through booming markets and painful downturns, which taught me the importance of helping people “live today, and plan for tomorrow”, as the saying goes. My career has been all about providing multi-generational wealth planning that meets the financial and philanthropic goals of my clients and their families. I work with successful entrepreneurs who want to give back and make the world a better place. Having an advisor helps them achieve those goals: one who manages their portfolio, coordinates with their outside tax and legal advisors, and understands every detail of their financial life.
I know successful wealth planning isn’t one-size-fits-all. I am usually the first call my clients make when their life changes: a job, a child, a new adventure. So, I spend a lot of time getting to know my clients, their risk tolerance, expected gains, stability, and above all, their values. Everyone deserves personalized advice and dedicated attention to their goals.
When I'm not working with clients, you'll find me out in nature, skiing, fly fishing, and mostly focusing on preserving our waterways for future generations. But above all, I live for my three boys, Colby, Clayton, and Carter, instilling in them the same love and respect for the outdoors that I have.
