We do this by developing a customized plan. Our strategy is flexible allowing for both todays’ and tomorrow’s needs and challenges. This comes from over three decades of experience with impeccable service delivered by our team of investment professionals. Stamper, Zion & Associates presents a client experience driven by transparency, consistent communication and personalized reviews. Simply stated our mission and purpose is to turn client goals and needs into reality.

I live in Knoxville where my late wife Ashley and I raised our sons. Our sons, Riley and Jones now live in Washington DC and Charlotte, NC with their careers and spouses. I am actively involved as a member of Sequoyah Hills Presbyterian Church, where I have served as a Deacon, Elder and Sunday School Teacher.

I am an active alumnus of the University of Tennessee-Knoxville. Previously I have served on the Parent’s Council at The McCallie School in Chattanooga as well as the President’s Society at The Webb School of Knoxville.

 In my spare time I am an avid golfer enjoying rounds at Cherokee Country Club, the Lookout Mountain Club, The Sporting Club and Diamond Creek.

 As a family we are active supporters of the American Cancer Society, the Cancer Support Network of Knoxville, The Love Kitchen, The University of Tennessee, The McCallie School and Team Rubicon.

At UBS, Brett works closely with a select group of corporate executives, seasoned professionals and successful entrepreneurs and their families to help them define and achieve their unique financial goals. By actively addressing the ever changing needs of clients and paying close attention to the impact of fees, taxes and risk management, Brett and his team offer a tailored experience and a multi-disciplinary approach to wealth management. Brett holds the CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ certification from the Certified Financial Planner Board of Standards, Inc. Brett has also earned the Certified Exit Planning Advisor.

Brett began his career in banking at First Illinois Bank in Chicago and worked in finance at Household International, now HSBC. As an entrepreneur and early adopter in the food and delivery industry, Brett co-founded, developed and sold two private companies in that sector prior to joining Merrill Lynch Wealth Management in 1999. Brett joined UBS Global Wealth Management in 2020.

Brett is active in his community and has served as a board member and past Chairman of Child and Family Tennessee, Knoxville Chapter President for Davidson College Alumni, and a recovering coach and enthusiast for Knox Youth Sports. Brett was awarded a BoardWalk Consulting Governance Fellowship and completed the “Governing for Nonprofit Excellence” program at Harvard Business School.

Brett is a graduate of Davidson College where he majored in economics. He and his wife Angela live in Knoxville and have two children, Christopher and Clara. They are members of St. John’s Episcopal Cathedral.

Annette joined UBS Global Wealth Management in 2020 after many years with Merrill Lynch Wealth Management.  Annette has served in a variety of Executive Administrative Roles. She is conscientious, professional and quick to respond to requests of all kinds. She strives to make every client contact a positive experience.

I am excited to be a part of the Stamper Zion team as a Client Associate. I graduated from the University of Florida with honors in May 2024 with a BA in Economics. I moved from Florida to Tennessee soon after. I look forward to getting to know each client and personalizing their experience, while pursuing registration with FINRA. 

Outside of the office, I enjoy painting, riding horses, and playing musical instruments. I am also planning my wedding to my best friend and fiancé, Max.
