Experience

After working for several years in the commercial banking industry in Seattle, in 1983 Gerry became a financial advisor with Murphey Favre, also in Seattle. In 1997 he joined Morgan Stanley in Olympia. During his career at Morgan Stanley he was a producing branch manager of both the Olympia office and the Federal Way office for a total of 10 years. In 2011 he was asked to join UBS in their Tacoma office and has the title of Vice President – Wealth Management, Financial Advisor. 

Gerry grew up in Lakewood. He graduated from Charles Wright Academy in 1973 and Washington State University in 1977. He lives with his wife, Jeri in Olympia and they have two adult daughters.

Zach began his career in one of the equity market’s most tumultuous years on record, 2007. He has helped clients manage their wealth throughout good times and bad.

Outside of work, Zach has an active interest in photography, travel, cooking, improv and hiking. He also enjoys spending time with his family, including two active college students and a French Bulldog.

Perry has served clients in the investment advisory industry for 27 years. He began his career with Dain Bosworth before transitioning to Piper Jaffray as a branch manager, and served in that capacity for UBS until becoming a complex director. He stepped away from the management track to advise clients on a full time basis. Perry graduated from Washington State University with a Bachelor of Science in Economics.

Perry and his wife Angela have a daughter Marguerite, and a son Luc. Perry has coached and umpired youth baseball, and is an avid Mariners fan. When not working or involved in baseball, he enjoys watching his daughter play tennis, cycles, and shoots at the range.

Matt joined the industry in 1989. He has a BA in Economics and Political science from University of Washington.

He has been married to the Maryann since 1990. They have 3 children and 2 grand children. When he's not working, Matt enjoys spending time in his garden, cooking, and playing golf with friends. He enjoys reading, traveling and learning new things. With all of this, Matt is an avid runner and finds time to run around 30 miles per week.

Chris has provided comprehensive financial planning and asset management for over 25 years. He began his career as a financial advisor in 1995 with Piper Jaffray, which later evolved into UBS Financial Services Inc. Chris graduated from Seattle University, gaining a Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration. He went on to obtain his Certified Financial Planner™ (CFP®) certification in 2002 and Master of Science with an emphasis in financial planning in 2007. Chris has participated in the UBS Wealth Advisor training program for elite advisors.

Chris is an avid mountain bike rider and enjoys spending time with his wife Sheri and two sons Jacob and Brady. He also regularly contributes to the YMCA of Pierce and Kitsap County and is a member of the organization's Endowment Investment Committee.

With over eight years of industry experience, Jackie specializes in qualified plans and providing exceptional client experience. Holding Series 6, 7, 63, and 65 securities licenses, she navigates financial complexities with precision and care.

Originally from Michigan, Jackie made the move to Washington in 2014. Outside of work, she finds joy in traveling, spending quality time with her dog Duke, and cycling.

Shannon brings sixteen years of financial experience to the Soundview Group. During her previous roles at Key Bank and Key Investment Services, Shannon was a licensed Branch Manager and Associate Financial Advisor. She is passionate about delivering excellent client service and currently holds her Series 6, 7, 63 and 65 securities licenses and Washington State Life Insurance Producer License.

Born and raised in NY, Shannon relocated to the PNW in 2018 where she currently resides with her partner, two children and their bulldog, Henry. Outside of work, Shannon enjoys traveling, gardening, cooking and trying new recipes with her family.

Kaoru's nearly two decades of financial services experience and over 15 years of UBS tenure make her an invaluable resource for clients and peers.

Beth joined the Soundview Group in January 2024. Her focus is on financial planning and relationship management. She currently holds the Series 7 and 66 securities licenses as well as her Washington State Life and Disability Insurance producer license. She passed the CFP® exam and will complete her experience hours in spring of 2025 to fulfill the remaining requirement of the designation.

Orginally from Wisconsin, a University of Wisconsin graduate (and a avid fan of all Wisconsin sports), Beth currently resides in Kitsap County with her husband, two sons and dog. Beth is a proud military spouse and serves as a Co-Chair of the UBS Veterans' Network for the Pacific Northwest. Her husband is an active duty sailor in the US Navy and is stationed in Washington. When not working, Beth enjoys playing piano, spending time enjoying the PNW, especially hiking and camping, traveling and cooking.
