With more than 20 years of experience at UBS, Liz is dedicated to providing clients with a holistic wealth management process grounded in thorough financial planning and thoughtful investing. She brings a deep understanding of the complexities that come with significant wealth and values working across generations to build customized, purposeful plans.

Before becoming a financial advisor, Liz served as the Regional Wealth Management Consultant for UBS’s Midwest region, partnering with the firm’s top advisors to deliver comprehensive planning to clients. She previously worked on the Wealth Planning Sales team and served as a strategic analyst for the CEO of UBS Wealth Management Americas. Beginning her career at UBS headquarters, Liz has built strong relationships across the firm, allowing her to easily leverage resources to best serve her clients.

Committed to lifelong learning, Liz has earned several industry designations and has been featured for her financial insights in outlets including CNBC, Fox Business News, Good Day Chicago, WBBM Business Hour, WCIU, and the Chicago Tribune.

Liz lives in the western suburbs of Chicago with her husband, Peter, and their two children. In her spare time, she is an avid runner and is currently training for the 2026 HYROX World Championship in Stockholm, Sweden. She also serves on the board of Big Careers Little Kids, a professional network that empowers female leaders navigating career and parenthood.

Karen graduated with a bachelor’s degree in International Studies from Emory University and has earned the Wealth Advisor designation. As a Wealth Advisor, she is eminently qualified to provide highly personalized wealth management services to her clients.

As a pioneer in the field of Socially Responsible Investing, Karen believes that optimal wealth management is about aligning lifestyle, values and aspirations. To that end, she educates her clients and guides them towards investment strategies that merge these very personal elements.

During Karen's career, she has been recognized for her accomplishments in wealth management, including being inducted into UBS's Directors Club, being named to the Executive, President’s and Chairman’s Clubs, as well as the Charlie E. Merrill Circle, while at Merrill Lynch. 

Outside the office, Karen is active in the community, giving time, attention, and resources to many organizations.  Some closest to her heart include Misericordia, Identity Youth Services, Jewish United Fund, World Central Kitchen, and Lake County Forest Preserve. Karen and her husband, Larry, reside on Chicago's North Shore, where she was born and raised. In her free time, Karen has a passion for the culinary arts, which she studied in France. Karen also enjoys golf, hiking and Chicago Bears football.

A 41-year veteran of the financial services industry, Mark is passionate about investing and research. While trained in all aspects of financial planning, Mark focuses on our clients' investment portfolios. As such, Mark ensures that investment strategies are aligned with our clients' goals and objectives.

Mark serves on the national board of Mikva Challenge, a nonprofit that was founded on the premise that youth voice and participation matter, and that civic and political life will be stronger when youth participate and help shape their own destinies.  Currently serving over 300,000 students annually, across 14 states and the District of Columbia, Mikva alumni have gone on to elective office and continue to actively engage in the civic life of their communities.

Mark holds a B.A. degree from the University of Missouri. Outside of the office, he enjoys playing golf and the bass guitar.

An award winning Wealth Management Associate, Jennifer earned her B.S. in Finance from The University of Wisconsin – LaCrosse, and later earned her Certified Financial Planner™ (CFP®) designation, one of the most renowned certifications in the financial services industry.   During Jen’s tenure at UBS, she has been a multi-year recipient of the David Munwes Service Excellence Award.  This honor was created to recognize and reward exceptional service to clients, leadership among colleagues and service to community. In addition, Jennifer has been tapped to be a Client Service Coach, and for many years has given her time and expertise to improve the skills of others.

Jennifer’s financial planning expertise serves as an essential resource for our team.  Her main responsibility is to orchestrate and deliver unparalleled administrative attention to our clients.

Residing in Chicago’s northern suburbs with her husband, Chris, and their two young children, you can catch The Barberis family on fall weekends cheering on the local high school football team, where Chris is a coach, boating during the lazy days of summer, and participating in countless sports activities.

With more than 25 years of experience in the financial services industry, including 16 years at UBS, Nicci is dedicated to delivering an exceptional client experience rooted in responsiveness, consistency, and care. As a Relationship Manager, she focuses on building strong, trusted relationships with both long-standing and next-generation clients, ensuring each client feels supported, understood, and confidently guided.

Throughout her career, Nicci has been recognized with numerous awards for outstanding client service and is known for her unwavering commitment to excellence. She plays an active leadership role within the firm as a certified Mental Health First Aider, peer coach, and engaged member of both the UBS Mental Health Employee Network and the Employee Pride Network, where she helped launch the Chicago chapter. Driven by a passion for improving processes and elevating service standards, Nicci also served on the UBS Client Service Associate Council, representing her peers and advocating for operational efficiencies across the board.

Outside of work, Nicci enjoys spending time with her partner and their three pets. She leads an active lifestyle and can be found competing in badminton and pickleball leagues throughout Chicago. 

As a Senior Wealth Strategy Associate, Kate partners closely with the advisors to deliver a holistic wealth management experience grounded in comprehensive financial planning and thoughtful execution. She is passionate about helping clients navigate complex financial decisions and takes pride in building custom financial plans that align with each client’s values, goals, and long-term vision.

Prior to joining UBS, Kate worked at Charles Schwab as an Associate Trader on the derivatives desk, where she focused on trade execution, operational accuracy, and client support related to options and equity trading. 

Committed to professional growth, Kate is currently pursuing the CFP designation and continues to deepen her expertise across the financial planning disciplines as she works toward a long-term career path in wealth management.

 Originally from St. Croix in the U.S. Virgin Islands, Kate moved to Chicago after graduating from Hobart and William Smith Colleges, where she was an All-American sailor and captain of the varsity sailing team. She serves on the board of the Virgin Islands Sailing Association and enjoys traveling to spend time with loved ones. Outside of work, you can find Kate racing on Lake Michigan during the few months Chicago weather cooperates and happily swapping the sails for skis in the winter.
