John has been in Wealth management for over 36 years. He successfully assists clients in managing all aspects of their wealth planning needs, through both good and often challenging market conditions. He attributes his success to having thorough knowledge of the capital markets, while working with his clients' accountants and attorneys. John has been an integral part of the management team at UBS, serving as a Sales Manager, Assistant Branch Manager, and Branch Manager, never losing sight of what is most important to him and his team, serving his clients.

Life
Outside the office, John pursues his passion for volunteering and being involved in the local community. He has volunteered with the National Ski Patrol for over 25 years, served as the President for Thousand Oaks Little League for 15 years, and chaired the 50th Anniversary Parade for the City of Thousand Oaks. Today, John serves as the President of Rolling Thunder California Chapter 1 (a nonprofit organization that honors US Armed Forces) and founded the Sgt. Ron Helus Ride For The Blue. He also serves as the Master of Ceremonies for the American Cancer Society's Relay for life.
John and his wife Sue have lived in Thousand Oaks California for 27 years and have three sons, Johnny, Daniel, and Christopher (adopted 2015) along with three Australian Labradoodle's, Bella Abigale, Sadie Mae and Emma Joe.

Collectively, the team has over 55 years of experience in servicing the needs of affluent families, retiring professionals, and successful business owners. He successfully assists clients in managing all aspects of their wealth planning needs, through both good and often challenging market conditions along with his partner Senior Vice President (John Short III) and Senior Client Service Associate (Teresta Kearin).

Life
Daniel volunteers with Hospice of the Conejo and is a former member of the Community Funding Review Committee for the city of Thousand Oaks. He also serves as Chapter President for a local Business Professionals Network; building professional relationships, opening new opportunities, and facilitating the exchange of ideas and best practices. Daniel's community involvement extends with the American Cancer Society and Rolling Thunder (an organization supporting local veterans). In his spare time, he pursues his passion for Health and Fitness, and athletic training.

Life
Teresta is passionate about being of service to her community. She has served as a board member for Make a Wish Foundation. Currently she volunteers for Big Brothers Big Sisters Ventura County and Food Share. In her free time she can be found searching for the perfect ingredients at the local farmers market or spending the day enjoying our beautiful coast.
Teresta and her Fiancé Tyler have lived in Ventura for 35 years and have one son (Cameron) and a Maincoon kitty (Rita).
