Senior Vice President–Wealth Management
Ken is the head of investment strategy and is a managing partner of the Retirement Strategies Group. He holds the Certified Investment Management Analyst (CIMA®), Certified Financial Planner (CFP®), Chartered Retirement Plans Specialist (CRPS®), Certified Exit Planning Advisor (CEPA®), and Certified 401(k) Professional (C(k)P®) designations. At UBS, Ken holds the titles of Senior Vice President – Wealth Management, Senior Retirement Plan Consultant, Senior Institutional Consultant, and Senior Portfolio Manager.
As a Financial Advisor, for more than 35 years, Ken has gained considerable experience managing uniquely-designed portfolios and has guided clients through historic market corrections, including the 1987 Crash, the 2000-2002 Dotcom Bubble, the 2008-2009 Financial Crisis, and the Covid-19 Pandemic plunge of 2020. Prior to UBS, Ken spent 10 years with Wells Fargo Advisors and nearly 20 years with Smith Barney as a Retirement Plan Consultant and member of the 401(k) Advisory Group.
Working with private wealth clients, Ken applies financial, goals-based analysis to fulfill client needs involving educational funding, retirement, and estate planning. By partnering with his clients' accountants and attorneys, he helps navigate the sometimes complex financial decisions in their lives in a tax-efficient manner. In serving our team's institutional clients, he evaluates and recommends comprehensive retirement plan solutions that address Fiduciary Governance, Plan Administration, Investment Policy and Strategy, and Employee Education and Retirement Readiness. Above all, Ken is dedicated to elevating his practice through education, experience, examination and the highest standard of ethics.

Alex joined the Retirement Strategies Group in 2017. A Cincinnati native, he attended St. Xavier High School before receiving his Bachelor's Degree in Structural Engineering from The Ohio State University in 2014. While in school, he was the Treasurer Officer for The Ohio State University chapter of the American Society of Civil Engineers. After graduating, Alex practiced structural engineering in Columbus, Ohio, responsible for the detailed design of various structures.
Alex serves the team as both a Financial Advisor and as a Retirement Plan Consultant by developing customized financial plans, implementing and managing investment solutions, and executing the team's portfolio trading. He holds the Series 7, Series 66, Life and Health, Chartered Retirement Plans Specialist (CRPS®) designation, Certified Investment Management Analyst® (CIMA®) designation, is a Notary Public in the state of Ohio, and is a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNERTM (CFP®) professional. Outside of the office, Alex loves cooking, SCUBA diving, and woodworking. He and his wife, Annamarie, live in Norwood with their two dogs.

Mark has 13 years of experience in the financial services industry, with the last 11 years as part of the Retirement Strategies Group. He is responsible for all client performance reporting and analytics, as well as the manager search and selection process. He comes to us with experience from Fidelity Investments. He holds the Chartered Retirement Plans Specialist (CRPS ®) designation from the College for Financial Planning. Mark earned a Bachelor of Science Degree in Finance from Xavier University in 2006 and resides in West Chester with his wife and two daughters.

Kevin has 10+ years of experience as a financial advisor to both individual and corporate clients and serves as RSG's 401(k) Education Coordinator. He graduated from Miami University in 2010 with a major in Finance and a minor in Statistics. Kevin is a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ and holds both Series 7 and 66 licenses. Outside of work, he is an Eagle Scout and remains active in the community. He currently resides in Loveland with his wife and two daughters.

Sam grew up in Brookville, IN, but her family is from the west side of Cincinnati. She has a bachelor's degree in Natural Sciences and Mathematics from Indiana University and holds her Life and Health insurance license. Sam joined the team in 2022 as a Client Service Associate. She currently lives in Oxford and enjoys spending time with her fiancé Tyler and son SJ rooting on Xavier, the Bengals, and the Reds!
