Jay began his career in the wealth management business in 1986. He has been an advisor with UBS Financial Services Inc. and its predecessor firms PaineWebber, and Kidder, Peabody, & Co. Jay received his Bachelor's degree in Personnel Administration from the University of Kansas and subsequently earned his Series 7, 8 and 66 licenses. He has achieved recognition through UBS and predecessor firms for both the PaceSetter's and President's Council.
Through the years, he has been active in his church, his college fraternity, Beta Theta Pi, and as a mentor for American Corporate Partners (ACP) which helps military personnel integrate into the private business sector. He has also served on the Boards of Bethany Medical Center and Kingswood Senior Living Community.
Jay and his wife, Janie, live in Leawood, Kansas. They are proud parents of three children, a son-in-law and daughter-in-law, and three grandchildren. Jay enjoys both fresh water and salt water fishing in the Florida Keys. He also enjoys hunting duck, upland game, and turkey, as well as, playing golf, traveling and spending time with his family.
Steve has been a Financial Advisor with UBS Financial Services and its predecessor firms PaineWebber and Kidder Peabody, since 1993. Steve is a Certified Financial Planner (CFP), and a Certified Investment Management Analyst (CIMA). Steve has a particular expertise in asset allocation using independent money managers or funds, often utilizing alternative investments for his clients.
He received a AB from Bowdoin College, and a MBA from the University of Kansas. He is a passionate sailor, and particularly enjoys sailing the Coast of Maine, traveling and reading. Steve has spent almost 2 years building a wooden rowboat bound for Maine. He is also active with not-for-profits, having served as a Board of Director on several organizations including Pembroke Hill School, Boys & Girls Club of Greater Kansas City, Quality Hill Playhouse, Heart of America Shakespeare Festival of Kansas City, and Young Audiences. He has also served on the capital campaign for the Nelson Atkins Museum, and served on the Bowdoin College Alumni Board.
Steve grew up in Kansas City. He and his wife, Kate, have been married for 33 years, and have 2 grown children.
Hunter Wolbach is a Senior Vice President - Wealth Management at UBS Financial Services. He has been with UBS or its predecessor company, Piper Jaffray, since 2002. He and his team provide concierge level advanced financial planning for a select group of successful families.
Hunter has a history degree from DePauw University as well as a law degree and master's degree from the University of Kansas. He also serves on the endowment investment committees for the Pembroke Hill School, Children's Mercy Hospital and the Nelson Atkins Museum of Art.
Hunter and his wife, Hillary, have three daughters under the age of 10.
David joins Plaza Wealth Management to provide a fresh perspective on issues that affect clients and their families. He is passionate about working with younger clients to achieve their long-term goals. Previously, David has worked in Corporate Finance and as an analyst in the Financial Services Industry. David received his Bachelor's Degree in Finance from the University of Kansas where he was a member of the Phi Delta Theta Fraternity.
David and his wife, Jenny and son Andrew, live in Fairway, Kansas. David enjoys the outdoors, traveling and spending time with his family and friends.
