David is a Senior Vice President and Senior Portfolio Manager with Paradigm Partners in Lexington, KY. He has been with UBS since 2012, having previously worked with the J.P. Morgan Private Bank and Merrill Lynch. Prior to entering the financial services industry in 2004, David held numerous financial positions in both public and private firms, including CFO, Controller and Auditor. David and his team focus mainly on prospecting business owners, particularly those that may be interested in transitioning their business to family or outside owners. The team has been successful in closing approximately $160m of transactions since 2015. In addition to working with and prospecting business owners, the team focuses on HNW and UHNW individuals, with average relationship size in the $2mm range. David and his partner Mark Korona, have spoken to a number of UBS financial advisors across the Southeast in recent years about their success in working with business owners through the UBS Business Development Group. He has passed the Certified Exit Planning Advisor Exam (CEPA).
Outside of work, he enjoys everything outdoors, University of Kentucky sports and was a founding Board Member for the Sandy Valley Habitat for Humanity.

Mark and his team focus mainly on prospecting business owners, particularly those that may be interested in transitioning their business to family or outside owners. The team has been successful in closing approximately $160m of transactions since 2015. In addition to working with and prospecting business owners, the team focuses on HNW and UHNW individuals, with average relationship size in the $2 mm range. Mark and his partner David Demarest, have spoken to a number of UBS financial advisors across the Southeast in recent years about their success in working with business owners through the UBS Business Development Group. He has passed the Certified Exit Planning Advisor Exam (CEPA).
Outside of work, he enjoys waterskiing, golf, and hiking. He is a board member of the Kentucky Nephrology Research Trust.
