Financial Advisor
Mark is a Senior Vice President and Senior Portfolio Manager with Paradigm Partners in Lexington, KY. He has been with UBS since 2010, having previously worked with the J.P. Morgan Private Bank and Merrill Lynch. Prior to entering the financial services industry in 2003, Mark held numerous technology leadership and consulting positions in both public and private firms. Mark and his team focus mainly on prospecting business owners, particularly those that may be interested in transitioning their business to family or outside owners. The team has been successful in closing approximately $160m of transactions since 2015. In addition to working with and prospecting business owners, the team focuses on HNW and UHNW individuals, with average relationship size in the $2 mm range. Mark and his partner David Demarest, have spoken to a number of UBS financial advisors across the Southeast in recent years about their success in working with business owners through the UBS Business Development Group. He has passed the Certified Exit Planning Advisor Exam (CEPA).
Outside of work, he enjoys waterskiing, golf, and hiking. He is a board member of the Kentucky Nephrology Research Trust.

Prior to entering the financial services industry in 2004, David held numerous financial positions in both public and private firms, including CFO, Controller and Auditor. David and his team focus mainly on prospecting business owners, particularly those that may be interested in transitioning their business to family or outside owners. The team has been successful in closing approximately $160m of transactions since 2015. In addition to working with and prospecting business owners, the team focuses on HNW and UHNW individuals, with average relationship size in the $2mm range. David and his partner Mark Korona, have spoken to a number of UBS financial advisors across the Southeast in recent years about their success in working with business owners through the UBS Business Development Group. He has passed the Certified Exit Planning Advisor Exam (CEPA).
Outside of work, he enjoys everything outdoors, University of Kentucky sports and was a founding Board Member for the Sandy Valley Habitat for Humanity.

Spencer is a Wealth Strategy Associate with Paradigm Partners in Lexington, KY. Spencer began his career in the wealth management industry as a client service associate with UBS and currently holds his Series 7 and 66 FINRA registrations. With his background in banking and wealth management, Spencer brings valuable experience in our mission to help improve the financial lives of our clients.

Sarah is a Wealth Strategy Associate with Paradigm Partners. Sarah joined UBS after a successful career as a National Bank Examiner with the Office of the Comptroller of the Currency (OCC), an agency of the U.S. Department of the Treasury. During her 16 years at the OCC, Sarah held numerous positions and focused on several aspects of banking including investments, commercial credit, and risk mitigation. Sarah supports the team by serving clients in Lexington and Louisville.
Outside of work, she enjoys hiking, the performing arts, and spending time with family. Sarah is a member of Western Kentucky University’s Finance Department Advisory Council.
