Olumide (Miday) Wilkey joined UBS in 2002 and focuses on advising families and institutions - on financial strategies and techniques suited to their unique circumstances. Miday's career spans the breadth of the financial services industry. He was a senior merchant banker with Bankers Trust Company (now Deutsche Bank), and also worked as an equity research analyst and portfolio manager with a focus on domestic U.S. small- and mid- capitalization companies. His early experiences included negotiating trade agreements for General Electric in China, Korea, and the Middle East. Beginning in the late 1980s, Miday worked on leveraged buyouts with leading private equity firms, including international and emerging market investments, and served on the boards of a number of portfolio companies.

He was Co-Founder, President, and Chief Executive Officer of Key Investors Corporation, a Greenwich, Connecticut-based international private equity firm. Miday became involved in international buyouts while associated with Forstmann Rayfield & Company, an affiliate of New York private equity firm, Forstmann Little & Company.

Outside the office 

- I was born in London, England and raised in Lagos, Nigeria. I have resided in the U.S. for over 20 years. I live in New York City with my wife, Erika, and our two children, Elise and Edward. 

Wes joined UBS in 2019, spending his initial months as a financial advisor at the UBS Wealth Advice Center. In this role he developed, implemented, and maintained investment strategies and financial plans for existing UBS clients. He was born and raised in northern New Jersey and graduated from Dartmouth College where he earned his B.S. in Government and competed as a Division I athlete. He played for the Dartmouth Big Green as a Varsity Men’s Basketball player for the entirety of his college career. Wes brought the hard work and dedication it takes to compete on the court with him to Renaissance Investors Group. He is now an Accredited Asset Management Specialist utilizing his skillset to service the holistic financial needs of his clients and their families to best help them achieve their goals.

Prior to becoming a UBS Financial Advisor, Wes served as an Emerging Market Fixed Income Broker at GFI Securities LLC. His role included business development for continuous improvement of team functions and utilizing market specific resources to price curves of Sovereign, Corporate, Index, and Repo EM bonds.

Wes remains an active member of his community through mentorship and volunteer work. He serves as a mentor for Dartmouth’s Big Green Alumni Mentorship Program helping current players navigate their time as student-athletes while also preparing for careers beyond their sport. He is also a mentor for and board member of Make A Play Foundation. This non-profit helps underrepresented student-athletes from all around the country cultivate the skillset necessary for executive careers in competitive industries.
