Senior Vice President–Wealth Management
The stock and bond markets can be like Chicago weather; if you don't like them at the moment, just wait around and they will change. What I enjoy most about long-term financial planning is the privilege to help clients I care about work toward their goals through thick and thin.
After receiving degrees from the University of Illinois and Northwestern University, I worked in the fields of banking, insurance, and securities since 1986. I was licensed about 30 years ago and have seen three of the worst bear markets of the last century. I believe that one can avoid a lot of sleepless nights by proactively managing the peaks and troughs of the market. Proper diversification and a trusting client relationship bode well for achieving long-term goals in an appropriate fashion.
Over 12 years ago, I formed a wealth management team with Jack Keller and Patty Roels. Together, we have over 75 years of experience delivering personalized service to our clients. As a father of four young children, I plan on having the pleasure of serving for quite a while longer.

Credentials
Senior Client Associate
I started in the industry in 1983. I began my career working in the operations area and eventually advanced to the Operations Manager position. After realizing my true passion was working directly with clients, I made the transition to working with financial advisors as a Client Associate.
I joined Kirk and Jack's team during my 18 years at Smith Barney, and we moved to UBS in 2005. I have since obtained my Series 7 and Series 63 licenses, bringing me to my current role as a Senior Registered Client Associate.
I grew up and currently reside in the south suburbs of Chicago and have two adult children, Courtney and Josh.
