James, who wanted to apply his business skills and help people achieve their financial goals, has worked in the financial services industry since 1966. He joined PaineWebber, UBS’s predecessor firm, in 1992. He earned a B.S. degree in business administration from Wayne State University and a M.S.A. degree in business administration from Central Michigan University. James and his wife, Sharon, have been married for 40 years. They have two children, Rebecca and Kevin and two grandsons. Outside of the office, James enjoys golf, fishing, traveling, classic cars, and boating.

Kevin began his career in financial services in 1993 when he joined Paine Webber, UBS’s predecessor firm, after he graduated from Michigan State University with a B.A. degree in finance. Since then, he has qualified as a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ professional, a Chartered Retirement Planning Counselor^SM and an Accredited Asset Management Specialist^SM. Kevin and his wife, Stephanie, have two sons, Nicholas and Justin. Outside of the office, he enjoys fishing, golf, travelling and watching auto races.

Carol joined The Nowakowski Team in 2018 and has nearly 37 years experience in the financial services industry.

Prior to joining UBS, she was employed with Ameriprise Financial and Morgan Stanley.

She holds Series 7, 9, 10, 63, 65, and 66 licenses as well as her Insurance licenses which allow her to assist clients with diverse transactional and other service-related needs, enhancing the team’s ability to provide excellent service.  Carol supports the team by handling the administrative aspect of the business and assisting clients with account maintenance.

Carol and her husband, Rich, reside in White Lake and have 4 children Jillian, Bill, and identical twins Lisa and Carla.  They have 11 grandchildren, and 1 great grandchild.

Outside of the office she enjoys golfing, quilting, and traveling.

Nick joined the Nowakowski Team in May of 2024 after graduating from Michigan State University with a B.A. Degree in Finance and a Minor in Financial Planning and Wealth Management. He currently holds the Securities Industry Essentials (SIE), Series 7, Series 66, and is working towards being fully licensed and ultimately obtaining the Certified Financial Planner (CFP) license to help people achieve their goals. Outside of work, Nick loves going to the gym, playing golf, and traveling.
