With more than 20 years of experience in financial services, Andy is uniquely qualified to lead NewBridge’s elite team and to provide counsel and advice aimed at helping clients achieve their financial goals.
Prior to founding NewBridge, Andy was a Senior Wealth Advisor at Merrill Lynch, where he developed customized financial and investment strategies for his clients. In addition, he has received accreditation as a Certified Private Wealth Advisor® (CPWA®), his Certified Investment Management Analyst® (CIMA®) designation, as well as his Retirement Management Advisor® (RMA®) designation. He is also an active member of IMCA®, the leading continuing education institution for the financial industry. Prior to the founding of NewBridge Wealth Management at UBS, Matt worked with Andy and Roe at Merrill Lynch advising high net worth families in a similar capacity.
Consistent with his passion for learning, Matt earned a BA degree from the University of Portland and has since completed additional programs at the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania and American College. He is also an active member of IMCA®, the leading continuing education institution for the financial industry.

Hailing from New York, Matt spent 26 years on the east coast. He graduated from the Carroll School of Management at Boston College in 2007 and worked at AllianceBernstein Wealth Management in Manhattan for 4 years where he was actively involved in portfolio trading and sales support. His love for skiing and the outdoors brought him to Colorado and he began working for UBS in Boulder in 2011. While working, Matt completed the Leeds MBA program from the University of Colorado at Boulder with a focus in Sustainability in 2014 and joined NewBridge Wealth Management shortly thereafter. He has his Certified Financial Planner® (CFP®) and Chartered Socially Responsible Investment Counselor® (CSRIC®) designations, and holds his Series 7, 66, and Colorado Health & Life insurance licenses.
Aside from working at UBS, Matt is the president of the Net Impact Chapter of Denver Professionals and is very active within the Sustainability community. He and his wife, Jen, love camping in Colorado and enjoying new experiences – from zip-lining in the canyons of the Dominican to hiking on glaciers in Iceland to swimming with sharks in Belize. They are having a blast raising their two daughters, Ada and Everlee, and are excited for what the future brings.
