He holds his Series 3, 5, 7, 63, 65, health and life insurance licenses, and is a past Chairman of the UBS Financial Advisor Advisory Committee. To Ed, the best part this business is having ongoing client contact and the ability to nurture good friendships. Ed stays current with the many different disciplines that wealth management addresses, including investing, economics, estate and retirement planning and changing investor demographics. Ed has a B.S. from the University of Louisville and an M.B.A. from Southern Illinois University.

Matt joined UBS in 2004 because of a lifelong passion for the stock market and investing. Matt considers himself a natural “numbers and analysis” guy and he focuses primarily on asset allocation modeling and financial planning for the team. He holds his Series 7, 66 and insurance licenses. He is a graduate of the University of Kentucky with a B.S. degree in business finance and management, Matt enjoys traveling, working out and playing sports.

Renee joined the team in January of 2015 to start her career in the financial services industry. She enjoys the planning aspect of wealth management and takes pride in the high quality service the team is able to offer to clients. She graduated from the University of Kentucky, where she received her B.A. in business finance and management. She holds her CFP® designation, Series 7 and 66, as well as life and health insurance licenses. Outside of the office, she loves spending time with her husband, Tyler, their daughter, Greta, and their Great Dane, Bella.

Ann has been serving the needs of our clients for the past 18 years, and assists with the asset allocation and financial planning process. Ann received a B.S. in biology and chemistry from the University of Alabama-Birmingham. She holds her CFP® designation, Series 7, 63, and 66 securities licenses, as well as health and life insurance licenses.

Shannon has over 28 years of experience in the financial services industry. She began her career at UBS in 1996 in the operations department. She decided to make the switch to the client facing side of the business in 2016, when she joined our team. Her vast operations experience allows us to deliver a greater level of service to our clients. She currently holds her Series 7 and Series 63 securities licenses. She is a Louisville native, who loves to visit Walt Disney World with her husband, also named Shannon. She is a mom of two adult sons, Jared and Jorden, and two Golden Retrievers, Hazel and Oliver.

Bethany is a graduate of the University of Kentucky and has served the financial industry since 2014. She joined the Nasief Powell Curtis Wealth Management Group in November 2021 and is excited to continue partnering with clients to achieve their goals with this successful and impactful team at UBS. She currently holds her Series 7, 66, health and life insurance licenses. Outside of the office, she loves to travel, see live music, garden, and play with her two dogs, Otis and Luna.
