He started his career in the financial services industry in 1988. Prior to entering the financial services industry, he attended and played baseball for Washington State University where he majored in Business Administration and minored in Economics. After college, Mike was drafted by the Kansas City Royals and played 6 years in that organization. Once his baseball career came to an end, he started with Piper Jaffray Hopwood as a stockbroker in Minneapolis, Minnesota. Mike has over 34 years of industry experience, working for the same investment firm which is now UBS Financial Services. Mike is FINRA registered and holds the Series 7, 63 and 65 securities licenses as well as licenses for life, accident, health insurance, long term care and annuities.
Mike’s primary goal when working with clients is to enhance their life, and the life of their family, through effective planning, investing and stewardship of their assets. He uses his extensive experience to provide personalized investment strategies and wealth planning services to a variety of clients, including individuals, families and business owners.
Mike and his wife, Ann, have five adult children, two daughter-in-law’s and four grandchildren. They spend time between Minnesota, North Carolina, Arizona and California visiting their kids and grandkids as much as they can. Mike enjoys teaching at their local church, pouring into the next generation through coaching baseball, volunteering with numerous local charities and serving on several ministry boards. On Saturdays, Mike enjoys being on his John Deere tractor, working on multiple chores around the house, walking the family dog, Tucker, or spending time with family and friends.
Drew Miller is a Financial Advisor and Co-Founder of Miller Wealth Management, a Forbes Best-in-State Wealth Management team at UBS Financial Services. With a passion for thoughtful planning and generational impact, Drew helps high-net-worth families navigate complex financial decisions with clarity and confidence. He specializes in casting vision through values-aligned advising – integrating investment strategies, estate planning, and legacy design into a cohesive plan rooted in each client’s vision for their family and future.
Drew believes that wealth should be a tool for stewardship, not just success. That conviction drives every conversation he has with clients – from navigating complexity to designing multi-generational strategies that reflect what matters most. His goal is to bring clarity where there’s uncertainty, confidence where there’s pressure, and peace of mind in the moments that matter most.
He began his career in financial services in 2019 as a Client Service Associate at UBS and later joined the UBS Wealth Advice Center as part of the firm’s Financial Advisor Training Program. In 2022, Drew partnered with his father, Michael Miller, to launch Miller Wealth Management – a team built on excellence, stewardship, and innovation. His entrepreneurial mindset fuels a creative, solutions-oriented approach to planning. He has an appetite for innovation, strategic thinking and believes the best financial strategies are both technically sound and deeply personal; designed to reflect each family’s story, priorities, and purpose.
Originally from Minnesota, Drew and his wife, Abby, now live in Charlotte, North Carolina with their five young children. Their home is full of movement, meaning, and joy. Whether he’s coaching tee ball, gathered around the table, or walking a client through a pivotal life decision, Drew remains anchored by a simple belief: If your home is a museum of memories, what portrait are you painting? For Drew, that question isn’t just personal, it’s the heartbeat of how he leads his family, his clients, and his team.
