Mike Miller is a Sr. Vice President of Wealth Management and Financial Advisor with Miller Wealth Management at UBS Financial Services. He started his career in the financial services industry in 1988. Prior to entering the financial services industry, he attended and played baseball for Washington State University where he majored in Business Administration and minored in Economics. After college, Mike was drafted by the Kansas City Royals and played 6 years in that organization. Once his baseball career came to an end, he started with Piper Jaffray Hopwood as a stockbroker in Minneapolis, Minnesota. Mike has over 34 years of industry experience, working for the same investment firm which is now UBS Financial Services. Mike is FINRA registered and holds the Series 7, 63 and 65 securities licenses as well as licenses for life, accident, health insurance, long term care and annuities.
Mike’s primary goal when working with clients is to enhance their life, and the life of their family, through effective planning, investing and stewardship of their assets. He uses his extensive experience to provide personalized investment strategies and wealth planning services to a variety of clients, including individuals, families and business owners.
Mike and his wife, Ann, have five adult children, two daughter-in-law’s and four grandchildren. They spend time between Minnesota, North Carolina, Arizona and California visiting their kids and grandkids as much as they can. Mike enjoys teaching at their local church, pouring into the next generation through coaching baseball, volunteering with numerous local charities and serving on several ministry boards. On Saturdays, Mike enjoys being on his John Deere tractor, working on multiple chores around the house, walking the family dog, Tucker, or spending time with family and friends.
Drew Miller is a Financial Advisor with Miller Wealth Management at UBS Financial Services. He is a baseball alum and graduate of the University of St. Thomas with a bachelor’s degree in Entrepreneurship from the Schultz School of Entrepreneurship. Drew began his career in financial services as a Client Service Associate in 2019 at UBS. He then joined the Financial Advisor Training Program at the UBS Wealth Advice Center. In 2022, he joined the Miller Wealth Management Group as a Financial Advisor. Drew is FINRA registered and holds his Series 7 and 66 security licenses as well as licenses for life, accident, health insurance, long term care and annuities.
Drew enjoys working side-by-side with his clients, helping them visualize and design a financial and investment plan for their family. A background in Entrepreneurship has enabled Drew to think creatively when it comes to complex challenges and problem solving. He feels much of the financial services industry is connecting with people, listening to what is important to them, and establishing a plan to help achieve their goals and objectives. Drew takes pride in helping clients walk away feeling a sense of confidence in the plan that’s put in place and the direction they are headed.
Drew and his wife, Abby, were both born and raised in Minnesota. They have three young children and currently live in Charlotte, North Carolina. Drew enjoys a good cup of coffee, a tasty bite of food and getting out on the golf course (really anything sports related). He is also very involved at his local church, mentoring men in his community, and is looking forward to coaching his kids as they get older. As a family, they love embracing new adventures, traveling to different places, cooking meals in the kitchen, trying new restaurants, but most of all just spending time together.
Emily Nauss is a Registered Client Service Associate with Miller Wealth Management at UBS Financial Services. She is a University of North Carolina – Wilmington Alumni with a Bachelors in Economics as well as a Bachelors in Biology. Emily first started her career at UBS in 2018 with the UBS Wealth Advice Center in Charlotte, NC. The WAC is a prestigious training ground in the financial services industry and she quickly set herself apart from others becoming a Subject Matter Expert in numerous topics. In 2021, Emily became the Head Operations Training Manager for the Training Financial Advisor (TFA) program, Financial Advisor Development Program, and the Wealth Management Associate Program. She joined Miller Wealth Management as a Registered Client Service Associate in 2023 and specializes in administration and operational support for the team. Emily is FINRA registered and holds her SIE, Series 7, 66, 9, and 10 securities licenses.
Emily enjoys working side by side with clients and financial advisors to ensure every service, administrative and operational request is addressed efficiently and effectively. Emily uses her experience and deep knowledge of the firm's operational and administrative processes to proactively and efficiently provide client solutions. Her background in training allows her to present a simple solution to complex matters, as well as creative problem solving. Emily ensures that her clients always come first and that they can walk away from any conversation feeling as though all of their needs are taken care of.
Emily and her husband, Travis currently live in Charlotte, North Carolina. Emily and Travis enjoy travelling the world, and spending time with their cat Oliver, and 2 dogs, Stella and Duke. Emily and Travis also love exploring new restaurants and new food together. Emily is an avid Carolina Panthers Fan. She also enjoys tending to her urban houseplant jungle and spending time with family and friends.
