CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER®
I am focused on helping individuals and families pursue their goals through comprehensive planning. In 2016, I met the rigorous experience, ethical, and exam requirements of the CFP® Board and became a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ (CFP®) certificant. I am also an Accredited Wealth Management Advisor (AWMA®) and hold the Series 7 and 66 securities licenses as well as licenses for life insurance and variable annuities.
As a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ professional I have an in-depth knowledge of the many financial planning solutions that can be tailored to each client's individual priorities, striving ultimately to deliver what clients need most today - Advice. Beyond investing.
Prior to joining UBS, I worked in education - serving as the Chief Financial and Operating Officer for a youth sports non-profit in addition to working as an administrator and teacher at two different inner city schools. I earned a Bachelor’s Degree in economics from Denison University and a Master’s Degree from the University of Notre Dame.
In my free time, I'm an avid runner, amateur guitarist, and Head Coach for Boys Varsity Lacrosse at Cretin-Derham Hall in St. Paul. I also serve on the Board of Directors for Mile in My Shoes - a Twin Cities based non-profit focused on bringing the power of running to people experiencing homelessness and other barriers. I live in Mendota Heights with my wife, Ali, and our sons, Billy and Wes and spend many summer weekends at our family cabin in Siren, WI.
