Ben has over 25 years of investment experience assisting professionals, business owners, non-profits and ultra-high net worth individuals with prudent investment management, estate planning strategies and holistic planning. As a Financial Advisor at UBS, he provides a customized approach to wealth management built on a personal relationship with his clients shaped by an understanding of their needs and aspirations.
His previous role was as a portfolio manager/analyst in alternative investments, derivatives trading and risk management at Wexford, a ten billion dollar macroeconomics global hedge fund. At Wexford, he was responsible for consumer, financial, and industrial sectors. Before that, Ben was a portfolio manager at Winchester Capital and Soros Fund Management. At both, Ben implemented a bottoms-up investment process with a macro overlay.
Before joining Soros, Ben managed a 3 billion dollar family office for a Forbes 400 family. At the family office, he managed an event driven hedge fund, developed allocation models, managed a $1.5 billion dollar derivative position, invested in concentrated single stock positions, and invested in private companies.
Ben started his career as an International Tax Lawyer, then joined Prudential Securities, where he was a Senior Vice President in equity derivatives.
He is a graduate of Seton Hall Law School and Lehigh University and is admitted to the New York and New Jersey Bar. He is also a Certified Public Accountant and holds the Series 7, 66 and life insurance licenses.
