Andrea began her financial services career at a time of record high interest rates, and for the past four decades has been guiding clients through the myriads of market cycles. As a founding member of the Nordell-Rubio Group, she is committed to principal preservation and growth. Strategic and tactical methodologies are employed to create and manage her clients’ customized portfolios based on their current circumstances and future goals.

She joined the former Paine Webber, predecessor to UBS, in 1988 after eight years as a vice president in the Washington, DC office of Wheat, First Securities, Inc. Her expertise includes designing plans that incorporate estate planning and wealth transfer strategies, income generation, tax efficiency, philanthropy and education funding using the full resources of UBS.

Andrea has multi-decade knowledge of the tech heavy Israeli market as an advisor to clients with that specific investment requirement.

Andrea has been honored to serve as a panelist for the New York Stock Exchange disciplinary hearings board an appointment she has held for the past 35 years.

Andrea holds a bachelor’s degree in Political Science from the City University of New York, and a master’s degree in Political History from Goddard College, Cambridge, MA. She is a member of professional and service organizations including Hadassah and The Galen Society of The Virginia Hospital Center.

She and her family live in Arlington, VA.
