My career began as a Financial Advisor with Merrill Lynch in 1984. I joined PaineWebber/UBS in 1994. Having spent the bulk of my career in the Houston area, I transferred to the Austin UBS branch in 2007, moving my family to central Texas to the small town of Bastrop. My wife, Christina and I have three daughters; our nineteen year old Virginia lives in Austin and is an audio engineer and music producer. Tara, twenty-nine, is a Petty Officer 1st class in the US Coast Guard stationed aboard the Cutter Sea Lion out of Bellingham WA., she is married to Sean who is also serving in the Coast Guard. Nicole our oldest, thirty-two also lives in Austin and owns and operates her own Pre-school. She is married to Chris who works for SXSW and is a tour manager for two bands.
When I'm away from the office my interests are fishing, working on my raw property, and improving my golf game. I also enjoy volunteering for venues such as Habitat for Humanity and most recently American Youthworks.
