Roberto began his career in 1987, during one of the equity market’s most tumultuous months on record—and over the past 37 years have helped clients manage their wealth throughout good times and bad.

After working for Smith Barney for 16 years, he joined UBS in 2003, where clients experienced the expertise of all the years working with the implementation of sophisticated wealth management strategies to enhance the different client's portfolios according to their risk profiles. 

The worked performed, earned him in 2008 the prestigious award of Global Circle of Excellence, a recognition for only the top 75 advisors worldwide at UBS.

Edgardo Ferrer is a seasoned financial advisor with over 20 years of experience in the financial services industry. He currently serves as Senior Vice-President of Wealth Management at UBS Financial Services Inc., where he leads strategic planning and advisory services for high-net-worth and ultra-high-net-worth individuals and families.

Before joining UBS in 2009, Edgardo worked as an Ultra High Net Worth Financial Planner at Banco Popular of Puerto Rico, where he specialized in developing and implementing complex financial strategies. His earlier career includes roles as a Certified Public Accountant at PricewaterhouseCoopers in Puerto Rico and Ernst & Young in Texas, overseeing engagements for SEC-registered clients with assets exceeding $20 billion.

Edgardo holds the Certified Financial Planner (CFP®) designation and brings a distinctive blend of expertise in risk management, estate and income tax planning, legacy planning, and sophisticated investment strategies. He earned both his MBA in Corporate Finance (magna cum laude) and his bachelor’s degree in accounting (summa cum laude)  from the University of Puerto Rico.

Beyond his professional achievements, Edgardo has served as Treasurer of Habitat for Humanity’s Puerto Rico chapter and actively participated in the Puerto Rico Certified Public Accountants chapter, where he co-chaired the securities industry liaison committee.

Edgardo resides in San Juan, Puerto Rico, with his wife Raquel and their two daughters, Celeste and Paula.

Herminio J. Frontera (Nino), CFA, CIMA®, CPWA®, is a Financial Advisor at UBS, based in San Juan, Puerto Rico. Nino works closely with ultra-high-net-worth individuals and families, with a focus on three key practice areas: business owners, artists and entertainers, and healthcare practitioners.

Nino began his career at UBS in the investment banking department in 2006, where he developed a strong foundation in financial analysis and advisory services. In 2009, he transitioned to institutional investment consulting, advising foundations, endowments, retirement plans, insurance companies, and credit unions on strategic investment decisions.

From 2015 to 2021, Nino served as Vice President and Head of Balance Sheet Management at Popular Inc., where he oversaw the bank’s asset-liability management program, defined benefit and defined contribution retirement plans, and collaborated across all aspects of corporate treasury.

He returned to UBS in 2021, bringing over a decade of institutional experience and shifting his focus to wealth management, finding fulfillment in building long-term relationships with his clients and helping them achieve their financial goals.

Nino holds a double major in Finance and International Business from the Kelley School of Business at Indiana University. Nino is a Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) and a Certified Private Wealth Advisor® (CPWA®), credentials that reflect his deep expertise and commitment to excellence in wealth management.

Outside of his professional life, Nino is the eldest of six siblings, happily married, and a proud father of three. He enjoys spending time with his family and staying active in his local community.

Isabel Haigler is a Senior Wealth Strategy Associate with over 20 years of experience in the financial services industry. With a strategic focus on wealth management and client support, Isabel plays a pivotal role in delivering tailored financial solutions and operational excellence. She is an integral part of our team and actively collaborates across departments, including regular engagements with digital specialists and support staff.

Isabel is known for her professionalism, attention to detail, and commitment to client success.

Since joining UBS as a client service associate in 2007, Julissa Figueroa has set the standard for personalized service and operational excellence. She manages a diverse range of client needs, from account setup and document coordination to retirement plan transitions and troubleshooting wire transfers.

Julissa is recognized as the primary contact for inquiries related to checking accounts, credit card transactions, electronic fund transfers, and online banking. She consistently organizes meeting logistics, ensures the prompt delivery of UBS tax documents and excels at managing daily operational requirements.

Her unwavering attention to detail and commitment to client satisfaction make her an invaluable member of the team.
