Ron has a PMP certification, life and health insurance licenses and his Series 7 and 63 securities license. He uses these tools as a resource to clients. Ron has been recognized on Forbes Best-in-State Wealth Advisors in 2020 and 2021. Ron graduated with a degree in finance from Boston College and lives with his wife and three children in New Jersey.

Chuck has been working at UBS since 1978 and joins four previous generations in the securities business. F.S. Smithers was acquired by PaineWebber in 1973 and, in turn, PaineWebber was acquired by UBS in 2000.
Chuck’s concentration is in the equities markets, where he applies classical economic theory and hard-money monetary principles in the oversight of client portfolios. Chuck has a strong discipline when managing client accounts that differentiates him from other advisors. Seeing many market cycles, Chuck has the experience to navigate and position your portfolio to ensure that your money is efficiently invested.
A Hobart College graduate, Chuck enjoys golf, flat-water fishing and coaching high school lacrosse. He holds the Series 3, 7 and 63 securities licenses.

Michael began his financial career as a foreign currency trader specializing in Asian markets. He specializes in portfolio management, wealth transfer strategies and financial planning. Along with the team, Michael is fully equipped to provide specialized solutions to a multigenerational clientele of affluent families and business owners.
He utilizes several equity, exchange traded and mutual fund models to optimize portfolios of his clients. Along with a thorough understanding of his clients needs, Michael efficiently and effectively tailors a solution for each client to accomplish their goals.
Michael is FINRA-registered and hold Series 3, 7, and 66 securities licenses as well as licenses for life, accident and health insurance and variable annuities. Michael is originally from Naples, Florida and received his degree in Finance from the University of Central Florida.

Richard is a Senior Wealth Strategy Associate and has over 17 years of experience within the financial services industry. Rich started his career at Merrill Lynch after attending Dickinson College and subsequently joined PaineWebber in 1996. Prior to joining the team he was a member of the branch management team for two New York City offices within UBS Financial Services Inc. As a Certified Financial Planner professional, Rich works with high net worth clients and their families with a focus on financial planning, asset allocation and liability management.

Johanna’s career with UBS started in 1995 at PaineWebber Inc. She graduated From Queens College with majors in Economics and Anthropology. Johanna has worked with HSG principal member Charles Smithers for over 13 years. She is dedicated to excellent customer service and oversees all account administration and operational issues. Johanna is Series 7 and 63 registered. She and her husband have three children and live in Long Island, NY.

Michael graduated from Fordham University with a degree in Economics, giving him a strong foundation in market trends and investment strategies. A native New Yorker, Michael currently resides in Staten Island with his wife. Outside of work, Michael’s passion for classic cars fuels his hands-on restoration projects, showcasing his dedication to precision and appreciation for legacy.

Cooper is a Registered Client Associate with a strong foundation in business and finance. He earned a degree in Economics from the University of the South in 2023 and joined HSG Wealth Management in December of the same year. In his role, Cooper specializes in relationship management, account operations, trade execution, and private banking services, ensuring exceptional client support and operational efficiency.
