Alex Hewit is a Senior Vice President at UBS Private Wealth Management acting as a wealth adviser for sophisticated individuals, families and institutions that deal with a high degree of complexity. Through a comprehensive discovery process Alex aims to construct effective and efficient wealth strategies that are implemented thoughtfully and in a tax-sensitive manner. His ability to identify and solve inefficiencies for his clients has been his strength while taking a service and advice-oriented approach to deliver a top tier experience for his clients.

Alex has leveraged his understanding of tax, investment and estate planning to help his clients implement estate & investment plans around significant liquidity events, to manage corporate and personal cash flow strategies, to implement charitable solutions for multi-generational families and to understand the risks across his client's entire balance sheet.

Prior to UBS PWM, Alex was a VP at Bernstein Wealth Management. Alex is a graduate of Princeton University, majoring in history, and was a captain of the men’s lacrosse team. He is an active participant in the Delbarton School Alumni Association and enjoys playing golf and paddle at Canoe Brook Country Club. Alex lives in Chatham, NJ with his wife, Lindsay, and three young children; Henry, Blake and Carolyn.

He provides custom investment, lending and legacy planning solutions for the families, businesses, endowments and foundations who entrust him with the management of their wealth. Prior to joining UBS, Michael spent 10 years as a Principal at Bernstein Private Wealth Management. While at Bernstein, Michael was a member of the Financial Advisor Leadership Committee and a member of the Management Team.

Michael enjoys playing golf, skiing and being outdoors. He lives in New Canaan, CT with his wife and two children.
