Hank is an industry veteran specializing in financial planning and portfolio management. He joined UBS in 2011.
A graduate from the University of California at Berkeley with a degree in Political Economics in 1978, his career in the investment business began in 1979 with Dean Witter Reynolds (later Morgan Stanley) where he developed a practice built on fee-based portfolio construction and management. In 2005, he left Morgan Stanley to join a newly formed investment advisory firm in San Francisco as EVP. When that firm was acquired in 2011, Hank saw opportunity in the story of a new senior management team at UBS and decided to move to the UBS San Francisco office. Finding a good fit with the UBS Portfolio Management Program and Financial Planning platforms, he has continued his work featuring core values of professional excellence and prompt personal service. Hank's team for the last 16 years has been made complete by his colleague and registered sales associate, Diane Free.
Native to the San Francisco Bay Area, Hank's home is in Marin County where he and his wife Judy have raised three children. Interests include travel, cycling, hiking, and choral singing.
