Rick joined UBS Financial Services as a Senior Vice President in 1986, founded the Held Group in 2001. Rick provides creative financial planning strategies to help wealthy families meet their personal goals. As a UBS Institutional Consultant, he provides guidance to endowment funds and foundations. Rick serves on the University of South Dakota Foundation and is a governing member of the Chicago Zoological Society. He is chairman of the Frank J R Mitchell Endowment Fund of Phi Delta Theta fraternity. Rick and his wife live in Hinsdale, IL. CA insurance license 0G68734
Jeremy joined UBS in 2001. Jeremy is a Certified Financial Planner™ professional, a Certified Investment Management Analyst (CIMA®) and a Chartered Retirement Plans Specialist (CRPS®) with UBS Wealth Management. Jeremy holds Series 3, 7 and 66 securities licenses. In addition, he is licensed to offer life, long-term disability and long-term care insurance. CA insurance license 0E56380. Jeremy earned a bachelor’s degree in finance from the University of Kansas and an M.B.A. from the University of Chicago Booth School of Business. He lives in Winnetka, IL, with his wife, Lindsay, and three children.
Rich joined UBS in 2001. He focuses on developing individualized investment, retirement and cash management strategies through comprehensive financial planning for our clients. Prior to joining UBS, Rich spent more than 10 years in the banking industry with American National Bank, a wholly owned subsidiary of J.P. Morgan. He managed more than 100 institutional banking relationships, providing lending, operational and investment services. Rich was also a consultant of KPMG. Rich earned a B.A. in history from the University of Wisconsin – Madison and an M.B.A. from DePaul University. He is a member of the Westmont Lions, volunteers with the People’s Resource Center Food Bank and is on the Board of Directors of Sharing Connections. In the fall, Rich officiates NCAA Division I football. Rich and his wife, Pamela, have two sons.
Ori lends his experience and insight to helping investors with their overall wealth management plan, focusing on retirement strategies, cash management, lending and insurance solutions. Prior to joining UBS, Ori worked for Driehaus Capital Management as an Assistant Portfolio Manager. Ori Earned a Bachelor of Science from the University of Wisconsin and an MBA with honors in Finance from DePaul University. He lives in downtown Chicago with his wife and three sons. CA Insurance license 0G68734.
Andy joined UBS Financial Services as an Institutional Consultant in 1990. Soon after his arrival, he began working with Rick Held on Institutional Consulting projects. To date, they have worked together successfully for over twenty years. Prior to joining UBS, Andy worked with the SEI Institutional Consulting Group for ten years as an Institutional Consultant and a manager in Chicago. Andy also spent seven years trading on the floor of The Chicago Board of trade where he learned the technical aspects of capital market analysis.
Andy lives in Glenview, IL where he finds plenty of subject matter for his number one hobby – photography.
Erik joined The Held Group in 2005 after graduating from Miami University in Oxford, OH, where he received his B.A. in English. Erik holds the Series 7 and 66 securities licenses and is designated by the firm as a Corporate Stock Benefit Consultant. He works to help develop creative solutions to his clients’ wealth management needs, specializing in equity trading plans, executive compensation, legal processing and estate coordination. Erik lives in Westmont with his wife, two daughters, son, basset hound and cat. He enjoys politics and writing fiction.
Lidia joined The Held Group in 2012 after graduating from Loyola University Chicago with a bachelor's degree in finance and marketing. Lidia lived in Mexico City for 16 years and speaks fluent Spanish. Lidia holds her Series 7 and 66 securities licenses and is a Certified Financial Planner (CFP®) professional. She lives in downtown Chicago.
Jonathan graduated from Loyola University in 2018 with a bachelor's degree in Finance and a minor in Entrepreneurship. He was born and raised in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia before moving to the United States for his education. Jon started with The Held Group in 2017 and currently holds a series 7 and series 66 license.
Abby joined The Held Group in 2021 after graduating from Auburn University with a bachelor's degree in Finance.
