Having grown up in a family owned business, Jason learned at an early age what drives business owners and entrepreneurs. Following a 30 year career in the airline industry, Jason’s grandfather started a South Jersey based supply company known as M&R Products that grew to over 25 employees. Jason witnessed firsthand the hard work, dedication and motivation it takes to earn trust from employees and customers. Jason earned his first paycheck signed by his late grandfather at the age of 13 and continued working through high school and college for the family business.
Early Lessons
The success of the family business didn’t come without early hurdles and doubts including a fire that wiped out the company's manufacturing building and provided an important lesson for Jason. The experience led Jason to firmly believe a discussion regarding risk management (life, business, portfolio and estate) with a focus on protection is the foundation of prudent financial planning for any individual, family or entity. More importantly, Jason learned from his grandfather that trust is earned over time.
