Financial Advisor
Michael is a founding partner of Gramercy Wealth Management, who has over 20 year of financial services experience.
Michael’s long tenure as an investment specialist and portfolio manager serves him well in the development and execution of complex financial solutions for global families. Michael transitioned over 10 years ago from an investment specialist to a wealth advisor, as he saw this role as a natural fit with his problem-solving skills and desire to help others. This pivot was natural (and fun!), since Michael wanted to have ownership over the entire client experience, from need identification to solution design, and to execution across all financial products and strategies.
At Gramercy Wealth Management, Michael specializes in bespoke trading, pre-IPO planning, portfolio construction, cash flow and retirement planning, as well as executive compensation strategies. He also heads Gramercy Wealth Management’s diligence efforts for private equity and hedge fund investments.
Prior to joining UBS, Michael was a relationship manager at Credit Suisse Securities North America. Before his time at Credit Suisse, he spent about a decade at JP Morgan in a variety of positions, including Global Investment Specialist, within the Private Bank’s Financial Leader’s Team and he served as an Associate Portfolio Manager, focusing on tax-aware equity strategies. Michael began his career at Fidelity investments in Boston, MA.
Michael is a former board member of Project Enterprise, a micro finance organization supporting entrepreneurs in under-resourced neighborhoods across New York City. He lives in Brooklyn, NY with his wife and two kids. His interests include running, skiing, cooking and reading.
