A true calling
Coming from a humble background, Franco was fascinated by the financial markets and blessed with the talent to understand the way they work. He believes strongly that his abilities in the financial services industry are the way he has been called to serve other people by helping them achieve their financial goals.

Experience and dedication
Franco worked briefly in the IT business before joining Smith Barney in 1997. He moved to UBS in 2007. As a Senior Portfolio Manager and one of the few Chartered Financial Analysts™ (CFA®) in Puerto Rico, he is the discretionary portfolio manager for long-term, risk-tolerant investors whose target is growth. Backed by the in-depth research of UBS analysts, he believes strongly in an investment (as opposed to a speculation) approach, and often invests his own funds right alongside his clients.

Franco is proud to be leading a dedicated team who, like him, have high moral standards, a belief in fiduciary duty and a united commitment to their clients’ successful financial outcomes.

The right solutions
Irma began her career as an insurance agent, but when almost all of her clients expressed a need for financial advice, she decided to train herself in the financial services industry. After joining UBS in 2015, she became a Registered Client Service Associate, where she focuses on listening empathetically to client needs and striving to help them find the right solutions.

Credentials and education
Irma graduated from Polytechnic University with a B.B.A. in accounting and received her M.B.A. in finance from Inter American University. She holds the Series 7 and 63 securities licenses as well as variable life insurance and annuities licenses. She continues to learn more about the financial services business by studying Wealth Management with Cannon Financial Institute and reading everything she can about financial issues.

Outside of UBS
On weekends, Irma walks with her husband on the beach or in Old San Juan. She also loves traveling with her family. Whenever possible, she gives back to her community by volunteering in UBS charitable activities.

Patience and clear communication
One of the chief attributes of client service, Enid believes, is learning to recognize clients’ needs even before they ask about them. For her, this means communicating clearly, having the patience to really get to know a client and their family well, and demonstrating a passion for helping people.

Credentials and education
After graduating from Bayamón Central University with a B.B.A. in business administration (IT), Enid joined PaineWebber as a Client Service Associate in 1997. She became a part of the UBS team in 2016 and is currently studying to obtain the Series 7 securities license.

Outside of UBS
Enid participates in community service (in particular, Entidad al Desamparado) and takes part in the UBS Season of Service, especially if the focus is on children. She enjoys spending time with her family, going to the movies and helping with her stepfather’s health care. She also loves the challenge of baking and decorating wedding cakes and pastries.
