About Susan 'Sue' Bordash
Susan began her career at the original Morgan Stanley in 1979, during an era when women joining and surviving brokerage firms was an exceptional feat. Beating the odds, Susan thrived in the male-dominated environment because of her analytical mind and persistence. With her natural relationship management skills, she quickly honed her craft by learning directly from some of the best minds in the industry.
Forged from the fire of Wall Street, Susan’s understanding of the industry and her high-touch, detail-oriented style attracted sophisticated financial services professionals as her top clients. Today, as a UBS Private Wealth Advisor and founder of Bordash Group, Susan advises long-term relationships of ultra high net worth investors and families. She was recently recognized by Forbes magazine as one of its Top Women Wealth Advisors for 2022, 2024, 2025, 2026. The Forbes rating is compiled by Shook Research and awarded annually in February based on information from a 12 month period ending September of the prior year.
Susan and her team guide clients in every critical area of wealth management—investment management, financial planning, wealth accumulation and preservation, estate planning strategies and philanthropy. Busy with their businesses and lives, Susan’s clients appreciate the care and time Bordash Group takes to understand their priorities and goals. The team believes that truly caring about clients begins with transparency, accountability and building long-lasting relationships grounded in trust and collaboration.
As a result, Susan has become her clients’ first call for advice, whether financial or personal. Given her tenure in the business and experience investing in many different market cycles, she offers a world of perspective and problem-solving skills, as well as access to the expansive global resources and platforms of UBS Private Wealth Management. Susan is also a Certified Exit Planning Advisor® who helps businesses with mergers and acquisitions. As true client advocates who are always connected to clients and their investments, she and her team are prepared to go above and beyond to provide the services and solutions clients need.
Bordash Group serves clients in 18 states from their base in Stamford, CT and Susan’s second and now primary home in Sarasota, FL.

We’re committed to understanding what wealth means for you.
At UBS, excellence comes from nurturing the best of our heritage, mastering the details and delivering the expertise you need to turn your financial vision into a reality. The result? Financial advice that is finely crafted for what matters most to you.
We strive to understand your unique life, the success you’ve created, and the vision you have for family and your future. Guided by those insights, we can then access the resources of UBS Private Wealth Management to deliver the solutions that best fit your needs today—and for generations to come.
What’s really important to you—today and for the long term? Our approach starts with questions and discussions that can help you organize your financial life into three key dimensions: Liquidity—to help provide cash flow for short-term expenses, Longevity—for longer-term needs and Legacy—for needs that go beyond your own.
Time frames may vary. Strategies are subject to individual client goals, objectives and suitability. This approach is not a promise or guarantee that wealth, or any financial results, can or will be achieved. All investments involve the risk of loss, including the risk of loss of the entire investment.
