James joined UBS as an Alternative Investment Consultant for the Family Office Solutions team within Private Wealth Management. The Family Office Solutions (FOS) team holistically services $100m+ clients and family offices in partnership with Private Wealth Advisors. In his role, James will work with advisors and their FOS clients, acting as an in-house consultant & expert-generalist across alternative categories including but not limited to: hedge funds, real estate, and private equity.
Prior to UBS James was with Hightower Advisors, a registered investment advisor with greater than $100 Billion in client assets. As Head of Manager Research, his primary responsibility was providing advisors with best-in-class alternative investment solutions, due diligence, and consultation. Prior to Hightower, James was a Senior Research Analyst at Fischer and Company, LP (now Fischer Stralem Advisors), a multifamily office & investment advisor managing $500 Million and serving HNW private clients, foundations, endowments, and pension plans. James started his career at Federal Street Partners, LLC, a Fund of Hedge Funds with $3.6 Billion AUM at peak.
On a personal level, James lives in Manhattan and enjoys golf, 80s and 90s rock music, cooking, hiking, NY sports and spinning.
