Rich’s career journey began when his interest was sparked by a college course in Money and Banking. This curiosity grew into a lifelong passion for helping individuals and families build, preserve, and transfer wealth. After earning his Economics degree from Allegheny College in 1985, Rich joined Paine Webber, beginning his four decade career of crafting customized strategies that support clients' long-term financial well-being.
During his time as a financial advisor, Rich advised clients through a variety of market environments—from the 1987 crash and the tech boom of the 1990s to the post-9/11 era, the 2008–2009 financial crisis and the economic uncertainty of the Great Recession. For more than 25 years, Dick has successfully helped clients manage their wealth through a number of volatile market cycles. With a Ph.D. in Business specializing in financial management and behavioral finance, Dick focuses on portfolio management which includes analyzing companies in-depth before investing and importantly, allocating uncorrelated assets within a market cycle to minimize the portfolio’s volatility. Dick tailors each portfolio to each client's specific risk profile and needs. In particular, Dick constructs portfolios that provide increasing income for those investors who are retired in order to hedge against inflation.
When not monitoring the global financial markets, Dick, as an adjunct professor, enjoys teaching graduate school students finance courses including principles of investments, portfolio analysis and management, and managerial finance with a focus on business ethics and a Christian worldview. As an extension of helping young people in a different venue, Dick for decades has reached out to inner-city kids by instructing them on the importance of family values and complemented this effort by being involved with a number of charities.
Before managing portfolios, Dick, with undergraduate and graduate degrees in materials science, conducted research and development in advanced alloys and advanced metallurgical processes for over a decade. This quantitative and mathematical foundation has helped Dick understand the inner workings of the market and allowed him to help his clients to manage the volatility of the market. By being an integral member of the EngZorena Wealth Consulting Group, Dick's expertise along with the teams' certified wealth planning strategists, provide their clients an unparalleled team approach to private wealth management.

Her path into finance began with a strong foundation in business. At 24, Joan became a clothing buyer at Ames Store, managing a large budget, tracking sales, creating marketing plans, and leading a team. After taking time off to raise her family, she returned to the workforce —first as a top performing realtor with an exemplary sales record, then moved into mortgage financing before joining New York Life, where she attained her life, health, and accident insurance license and enjoyed providing solutions to the deep financial challenges people can face.
Driven by a desire to make a lasting impact, Joan joined a UBS Wealth Planning team in 2014 as a Wealth Strategy Associate. In her current role, she supports the development of personalized wealth management strategies, helps lead marketing and outreach efforts, and is deeply committed to delivering exceptional client service. Always a life-long learner, her 2018 designation as a Certified Divorce Financial Analyst® enhances her ability to provide thoughtful guidance to clients navigating the immediate and long-term financial complexities of divorce. Joan also obtained her Series 7, 66.
Outside of the office, Joan has served on several local executive boards, including the Orange Chamber of Commerce, Orange Lions Club, Turkey Hill School PTA, and the Sacred Heart Academy Advisory Board, of which she is an alum. When she’s not working with clients or collaborating with her team, you’ll find her in the garden with the family dog, Aine, cooking a new recipe, or on the tennis court.
