Owen began his financial services career at Kidder Peabody in Boston in 1985. Through industry consolidation, Kidder Peabody became part of the current day UBS family tree. Owen focuses on wealth management and investment solutions for individuals, their families, and their businesses through the implementation of personalized financial plans. These planning strategies include income and risk in portfolio design, cash flow management, and legacy planning for multi-generational families in order to meet a broad range of client needs and objectives. He holds his Series 7, 63 and 65 licenses.
A graduate of the College of the Holy Cross, Owen is lifelong resident of Wellesley, MA. He takes great pride in spending time with his children and grandchildren. Owen is very active outside of UBS, having learned the importance of giving back to his community from his parents. Hi involvement includes roles as President of Parent’s Council, Elon University, Elon N.C. 2010, 2011; Wellesley Town Meeting Member 2014, 2015; Associate Head Hockey Coach, Wellesley High School, 2013-2024; and President Wellesley Country Club 2022-2024.

Jamie has gained broad-based experience in the 20+ years he has spent in the financial services industry, particularly in serving the wealth management needs of affluent individuals, their families and their businesses. He has earned the designation of CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ (CFP®), which is recognized as the standard of excellence for competent and ethical personal financial planning.
Being a family business and building on what his father started in 1980, he has built a team that strives to treat clients like family and build long-lasting relationships based on trust and personalized advice. Jamie looks to assist clients with simplifying their financial lives, making better financial and investment decisions, and preserving and growing their wealth over multiple generations.
Jamie earned a B.A. in economics from Davidson College, where he was a pitcher on the Division I baseball team. He earned a Certificate of Financial Planning from the School of Financial Planning at Merrimack College. Prior to joining UBS in 2005, Jamie worked for CCBN, a market data provider that was acquired by Thomson Financial.
Jamie also gives back to his community, focusing his efforts on education organizations. He is a member of the Boston Leaders for Education, which works to increase the number of high quality schools across Massachusetts. Jamie is also involved with Year Up Boston and is the founder of their annual 3-on-3 Basketball Tournament.
Jamie and his wife, Jessica, live in Hingham, MA with their children, Connor, Ryann and Lucy. He enjoys coaching youth sports, playing basketball and skiing with his family.

Matt Bechtel has been a financial advisor with UBS and The McDonald Group since 2007. During his career, Matt has obtained the CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNERTM (CFP®) designation, allowing him to provide clients with holistic and comprehensive financial guidance and investment advice. Matt looks after his clients' overall financial well-being and helps organize, plan and manage every aspect of their financial affairs. Matt believes coordination and communication between a client and all of their trusted advisors is imperative.
Matt and his business partner, Jamie McDonald, have known each other for over 25 years. They realize the importance of trust in a relationship and strive to earn the same trust they have with each other with their clients.
Matt and his wife, Molly, live in Wellesley with their daughter, Caroline, and sons, Whit & Hugh. Matt is very involved in the community, primarily focusing on Team Fox Boston Professionals, a group Matt co-founded in 2013 to help fundraise for the Michael J. Fox Foundation. A graduate of Syracuse University, Matt is a diehard Orange fan.

Mark has more than 20 years of industry experience as he began his financial services career in 2000 at Smith Barney, where he held roles including Client Service Associate, and grew into Assistant Operations Manager. He returned to the client facing role joining Owen Dugan in 2008, where they have remained together since. Mark manages the operational, administrative, and client service functions for the team. He joined UBS in 2012 as an Investment Associate and is FINRA-registered holding securities licenses Series 7, 9, 10, and 63.
Outside of work, Mark loves spending time with family watching his kids' sports. He also enjoys participating in marathons and triathlons among other outdoor activities. With the focus on those activities, he has given back to his community by running the Boston Marathon several times, raising over $100,000 for charitable organizations. Mark lives with his wife, Jill, and their two children on the South Shore. Mark earned a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration with a concentration in Finance from Girard School of Business at Merrimack College, North Andover, MA.
Wealth Management Associate
Haley Tyrrell joined The McDonald Group in 2019 and serves as the team's Wealth Management Associate. She graduated from The D'Amore-McKim School of Business at Northeastern University in Boston, Massachusetts, earning a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration with a concentration in Finance.
During her time at Northeastern, Haley completed two cooperative education programs, intertwining a full year of work experience into her academic curriculum. She engaged in the marketing operations of Natixis Investment Managers as they underwent a company rebrand, and gained diverse industry knowledge as a Case Team Assistant at L.E.K. Consulting.
As the team's Wealth Management Associate, Haley's focus lies in simplifying the lives of clients using her resourcefulness and superior problem solving skills. She strives to help clients recognize the full value of UBS's resources, and finds great reward in strengthening relationships. Haley also holds her Series 7 and Series 66 securities licenses.
Haley currently resides in Boston, Massachusetts. She has a passion for Italian cooking and enjoys spending time with her family in Kennebunkport, Maine in the summer.
