Duane started his career on the floor of the New York Stock Exchange and was hired by Boston Securities, a major client at the time, to expand their trading operations. He joined Smith Barney in 1990 and worked in the Park Avenue office as an advisor. He later transferred to the Hingham, MA office and in 2008 joined the South Shore office of UBS Financial Services. Duane is a former board member of Duxbury Youth Football and the High School Gridiron Club. He currently sits on the board of the "33 Touchdown Club" overseeing their fundraising and scholarship program.
