Financial Advisor
Elijah is a Private Banker and Managing Director, and leads the Dornstreich DePaul Group in UBS's boutique Private Wealth division. His team is highly skilled in serving private enterprises and family-and founder-led businesses, offering a combination of personal attention and institutional-scale solutions. His approach is not just about wealth management; but navigating the full business lifecycle from growth to exit strategies, focusing on unlocking value at every stage.
Elijah quarterbacks a multidisciplinary team of specialists in investment banking, estate planning, tax optimization and insurance. His team empowers clients to strategically navigate financial decisions, such as recapitalizations, business exits, and advanced structures like Employee Stock Ownership Plans (ESOPs) and captive insurance solutions. The team’s analytical capabilities offer clients visibility into the financial implications of M&A, concentrated stock holdings, and investment opportunities, for global families with intricate and multifaceted balance sheets.
Leveraging UBS’s global platform—one that serves more than half of the world’s billionaires—the team designs sophisticated portfolios incorporating global equities, fixed income, private markets, structured solutions, and where appropriate, direct equity investments in private opportunities.
Elijah's commitment to the community extends beyond the boardroom. He’s served as Trustee and Treasurer of the Weitzman National Museum of American Jewish History and continues to serve on the board of the Association for Corporate Growth (ACG) in Philadelphia, the advisory board of the Satell Institute for Corporate Social Responsibility, and the Council for Discovery Science at Penn Medicine.
Outside of work, Elijah enjoys family time by the lake in the mountains. He is a member of Waynesborough Country Club and the Union League of Philadelphia and lives in Berwyn, PA, with his wife, Gennifer, and their two daughters, Miriam and Penelope.
